Palm Beach Café
Great place right on the boardwalk. The view of the ocean with the yachts floating by is exquisite. Nice relaxed atmosphere, cafe style with plastic chairs and tables, order at the counter. The serving sizes are very generous and the food tasty. Seafood was fresh as you’d expect next to the ocean. Maybe a little pricier than similarly styled places but you’re paying for that view! The staff were all lovely and were able to accommodate our very elderly grandfather. On a perfect day, watching the sunset, where else would you want to be?

Pleasantly surprised by the meals. Great views to Garden Island. Prawn linguine only had 3 prawns but great flavour and the pamy was nice and crispy with a nice salad. Recommend for a relaxing catch-up.

I am absolutely DISGUSTED at the staff at palm beach cafe! The owners are lovely though. The service and the food are appalling. I ordered the grilled barramundi, for 35$. My fish came UNDERCOOKED. It tasted funny for barramundi, I cut into it and realised why when I saw the raw meat. The waiter walked off halfway through me talking to him and kept rolling his eyes, all the staff seemed more concerned with going home. The serving staff did not like my group one bit and seemed too give us attitude every time we spoke to them. If you cannot preform a customer service job properly and have a bias towards people, don’t work in the industry. Plenty of other people would love the opportunity. The manager and owners are understanding and nice, I got a full refund and he showed the chef that it was raw. It’s a shame because I used to love coming here, it was my birthday today and I wanted to eat out with my family. I honestly feel like the whole thing was rushed and they just wanted to go home, because of that I ended up with raw meat. Very upset and angry with the whole ordeal. Won’t be back.

I recently visited Palm Beach Cafe! They had a great selection of classic dishes, including a delicious Parmy, Fish and Chips and a Salad Plate. Prices were very reasonable, and the location was spectacular - right on the beach promenade. For the price you pay, you can’t complain. Recommend!

Got Seniors Meal, Fish and Chips, serving size was rediculously small, yet still cost $18. Normal serve is $26 I wonder what size tgat is. Quality was bit great either. There are 4 or 5 other places next door and near, will go there next time.

Second time here. Today young Hui was to be congratulated for his attention to detail and service. Our meals were lovely and the coffee, smooth and creamy. Highly recommended for coffee, beers or a meal whilst overlooking the water.

Very good table service fast and efficient ordering was a breeze food come out fast and perfect and could you get any better than starting the day at the beach overlooking the water from an alfresco Cafe I think not
