Chipmunks Playland & Cafe Ballarat

Waste of money ! Don’t recommend, my best friend paid over $500 to have her sons 3rd bday there, it only went for 1hr, there was only one party game that wasn’t even really suitable for their age as they were a lot younger to understand what to do. There was no where near enough food for the adults with the amount she paid for it. They rushed everything we basically got there had the food & made us have the cake straight after felt very rushed. They also supplied the party bags which only had a chipmunks drink bottle, a piece of paper & a little bag of lollies so we ended up going to aldi to grab some stuff to fill up the bags for the kids. With the amount of money paid we expected alot more then that. Also on the way out she was already stressed as it was with her hands full holding presents, cake etc & made her do a review & we’re over her shoulder the whole time making her feel pressured to do it, didn’t offer to hold anything & watched over shoulder as she did it. Very upsetting all that money was paid & was no where near worth that money.

I do not recommend having a party at chipmunk at all. The whole thing was rush and put so much stress on me and my child. They played one game and yelled at yelled at a 4 year old for cheating when he didn’t understand the rules. The food tasted gross and they reused paper plates from other party’s. and as I was leaving with my arms full of stuff (toys & cake) they refused to unlock the gate until I left them a review and the manager was over my shoulder the whole time as I was doing the review they didn’t even offer me once to help hold anything. I can’t believe I spent $517 dollars on a party like that. 100% not worth that much.

We had my daughters birthday party here. It's was absolutely wonderful. The staff were amazing, the playground is very clean. All the kids had a blast.

Our daughter celebrated her 8th birthday recently at Chipmunks. We self hosted which absolutely worked for us. We spent 3.5 hours there and the children had a ball! The owner/employees were so wonderful, checking that everything was okay and even brought Charlie over for a photo with each of the children! They were great in regards to food allergies and the food was wonderful. It does take a while to arrive so be sure to pop your order in, in advance. We did this for lunch and it arrived right on time. They allowed us to bring in cupcakes for the children and allergen free fairy bread for the child who couldn't have fairy bread from there! Absolutely recommend Chipmunks! 10/10. Thanks to the team!

We had my daughters birthday here our in the dining area. It was clean and tidy, the staff were nice and very accommodating, and the food and drink was brought out quickly. Would have definitely been a 5 star review had the cake fee not been so high ($20 flat rate to keep in fridge regardless of if it was already cut or needed them to cut) after spending so much on entry and food for 10 children. Will return though.

This is a terrific play centre, but if you use Google Maps, you might miss it because there are no street side signs and it's at the back of Aldi.

Hosted my son's 7th birthday here with one of the packages. Kids absolutely loved the place, staff were very friendly and helpful and we all had a great time right from when we walked in the door. Definitely coming back

Went for a party everything was very rushed, staff were rude to the children and the jumping castle is very unsafe with a metal beam on the roof of the building touching the top of the castle for kids to hit their heads on, had a very upset little girl with a sore head. Definitely not worth the money
