Pasta Al Dente

Pasta Al Dente is amazing! It is a little out of the way in a semi industrial area but it is so worth going there. It’s a deli, bakery, takeaway and shop all in one large space. It sells all you need to make homemade Italian dishes but also has fresh ready made meals, not limited to Italian dishes eg butter chicken, for reheating at home. The bread is wonderful with a huge selection. You can sit and have a coffee and a bite to eat. The hot takeaway food is extensive, I particularly like the spanakopita. The local tradies were queuing up so that’s endorsement in itself. But beware! You’ll probably end up spending more than you thought like I did as there’s so much to choose from!

This place is so good for the lunch specials. Pizza, pasta, chicken schnitzel, Indian curry and many other options. Really delicious and priced very well. I will go out of my way to visit and pickup some easy lunches and dinners made fresh.

This shop is an Aladdin’s Cave of food. The enticing aroma of fresh pizza baking is irresistible. There are a variety of take away foods i.e. devilled chicken wings $2 each, variety of meatballs, from $1.30 each, small and large serves of freshly cooked Ravioli bolognese, small take away ravioli $5, large $7. One side of the wall is dedicated to take away pre-prepared meals, veal and chicken tortellini, gnocchi, spaghetti, lasagne, spinach & ricotta cannelloni, all prepared in different sauces i.e. bolognese, napoli, carbonara at $6.30 each (450g) or 5 meals for $28.50. Cook at home pizza $7.90 for size 20cm X28cm, we chose a vegetarian, it was delicious as was the pizza cooked on site. This shop has a cheese section, a bulk foods section for ravioli, gnocchi etc., imported sauces, cakes, nuts, olives and Frozen foods from calamari to samosas, pies, gelato and a multitude of other frozen foods including Australian. The deli is well stocked. The bakery is located next to the deli and the aroma of fresh bread permeates that section, so tempting. Some take away food also available from the bakery. Four tables are set up near the deli for anyone wanting to take a load off to “eat in” the delicious pizzas or any foods from the deli, bakery or just to have a coffee with cake. The level of service fluctuates between very good and very ordinary depending on which staff is rostered on. Parking is very difficult if one visits on a busy day, may need to park further down the street. The store also provides Catering services. *would normally give a lower rating for the occasional lack of good customer service but, not on this occasion as most of the staff have been very pleasant. Their food is the best! All the sandwiches were so fresh and made with the most delicious produce and the store is everything for any Italian food lover. We just missed out on the woodfire Pizzas as they sold out but we will be back

Such an amazing atmosphere! So much happening with Italian produce as far as the eye can see. Love coming here...staff happy to see you and not bad prices either. My new favourite place to come to.

A treasure trove of fine foods. Go there for your lunch with focaccia, pizza or pasta. But you can also a wide range deli foods. Frozen pastas and pizzas. Fresh pizza dough. Fresh rolls. Meat and cheese deli available grab a quick bite to eat or stock up for your weekly food at home by yourself or for the family. All at great prices as well.
