The schnitzels here are huge and are enough to breed a family of four (one serving). They are also very cheap and therefore I find the food is excellent value for money. They are also top quality and fancy schnitzels. Definitely worth going for all schnitzel fans. Yours truly @fooderarri

I wish the schnitzels were cooked in olive oil for that genuine home made taste. Vegetable oils aka seed oils are dangerous to eat. Beef dripping, lard or olive oil would turn this to a totally healthy feed. . Otherwise enjoyed the generous portions and the staff were friendly and prompt. A bit of music would've been nice too.

No more gluten free choices. Portion sizes so much smaller, but prices remain the same. Sorry won't be back!

The goni's gone, order took ages, smaller portions, same price. No jumbo schnitzels anymore.

Got the jumbo Schnitzel which was pretty good but the portions were a lot smaller than they used to be at gonis.Instead of more schnitzel they come with chips and salad, although the salad isn't anything special and the chips were below average.Jumbo costs $45. Decent value if sharing between 2 people, but don't expect to take home heaps of leftovers like in the past.I'd suggest they cook their chips better though.Staff were friendly.

Best place for the best authentic South American food in Sydney. Here you'll find the following comfort dishes such as:- Asado- (Best tasting) Chicken schnitzel. Sth American/Mexican, Mediterranean, Greek styles.- Meat platters like in the photo attached that feeds generously 4-5 ppl easily. Great economically as well for a hungry group.- Many Seafood options, prawns, octopus, calamari, fish and chips etc- They also have a licensed bar with many alcoholic beverage optionsAbout the service, the staff are prompt and friendly. The food is prompt and well presented, meeting expectations. The atmosphere is friend and family friendly. One last point. If some people are (picky) unhappy about the generous portions that this place offers, ask for a free foil takeaway container and now you'll have left overs for a free lunch the next day!Overall 5 stars for this venue as you'll arrive hungry and leave happy.

The Goni's Schnitzelria
I’ve been going here with my family for years. We generally enjoy Asado as they use to cook it so well.Unfortunately Goni’s has now changed ownership, which I found out on my last visit. This has bought a decline to the quality of food. The Asado on the menu is not the traditional South American asado, they served some slow cook beef ribs (long cut) which was marinated is a tomato sauce, topped with the strangest chimichurri I’ve ever tried. On top of the let down of the above, the food was cold when it came out! The only way I can imagine for it to be cold was it had been cooked prior and then reheated in the microwave.Staff was apologetic, and understood us returning the food and not wanting to order anything else.I will never return to Goni’s.
