We were chasing good coffee and cakes and after nearby disappointment we found the French Basket. The barista is The Coffee Man, from the book, and extra strong coffee is really smooth and the cakes extra tasty. The lemon tart has the best lemon curd that you could wish for.It's a local's secret.

Ridiculously overpriced, I mean $6.00 for a sausage (more like a pastry) roll... you've got to be joking. If you are going to charge ridiculous prices at least have the decency to put some bloody filling in them.

Nothing better while studying than a divine ONA coffee by an expert barista and a fresh buttery, flaky croissant that is just as good as when I was in Paris.The friendly faces of staff and regulars here make for a welcoming and cheerful vibe that makes this my favourite stop in Sawtell. While they don't have a chef during the week right now during the off season their fresh pastries, croffins and baguette sandwiches really hit the spot and make it easy to stay all day. Thanks for the wifi and the good time FB!

Pleasantly surprised to walk past, and pop in for breakfast. The food and coffee was redhot!! Couldn’t recommend it more. The staff were all lovely and knowledgeable and we felt really cared for. Thank you!!!

My partner and I got drinks and pastries here for breakfast the coffee was excellent and the sticky chai latte was to die for (it was the proper spiced chai rather than the powered chai you get)! The chocolate croissant was so soft and buttery and the chocolate was the right emount of sweet. Will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Using ona coffee. Sad they weren’t running a filter because we drove down just for that, but was compensated with nice tarts and a good single origin espresso that was well extracted. Great vibes and good service.

This cafe has the appearance of your typical coastal cafe. Do not be fooled though, the food on offer is very traditionally French and excellent to that point. Delicious pastries and coffee to boot.
