Edi Cutting Camping Ground

Edi cutting itself is beautiful (5 star). Lovely river and surrounds which makes this spot so popular. When we get-a-way we like space between other campers which is not what you will get here but that said when we visited no loud music etc. from other campers so plenty of respect during our stay. Understand these days beautiful spots just of the main road will generate plenty of interest for people not set up to be self sufficient. We arrived on a Thursday and our biggest issue with this spot was the amount of trucks all night long which kept us awake most of the night. (might have just been bad timing) on the weekend no such noise. If you don't mind a crowded camp then Edi Cutting is well worth a stay.

A wonderful spot. Long drop toilet clean. When we were there it was busy but everyone did the right thing and kept the area tidy.Note: there are no bins so please take your rubbish with you. A dump pount is at Edi township, gold coin donation please.

Crystal clear water plenty space for camping. There’s two toilet for this place not really far from each site. There’s shop nearby if you need something (by car). Just be considerate as there’s other camper around as well because during our stay some groups having party with loud music even its far from our site the loud banging sound still pretty obvious as it was really quiet during night and the music continues until 5 or 6 am. The next morning police came to do rounding (i assume). Overall it was an awesome camping site.

Great place to camp, nice and and clean

Awesome!!! There is 1 toilet,good access for 2wd as well. You can camping next to the river and the water is clean and superb..nice place to gathering with friends and family

Good place for tents and camper Vans. Quite a few spots available also has phone coverage and right on the river which can be good for kids to paddle in. The only down side is the traffic noise in the morning may wake you up as the road get quite busy.

Love this place but camp fire need to share, if you dont get the spot. There is a stream and public toilet.

Second time here and loved it. Friendly folks who have friendly dogs that don't disturb. Campsite itself runs along the river with lots of entry points. Perfect for a little splash on warm days.Heaps of tall trees to provide shade throughout the day.The only downside is the road it runs along provides access to a lot of trucks. The road seems to make them brake hard, possibly using their gears so it's a loud roar as they do this, making it hard to stay asleep throughout the night.There is a drop toilet and several fire pits.

Nice and free camping area. Very clean but the river had a lot a stone, very hard to walk in water but nice for kayaking. Friendly to kids and enjoy every moment’s
