If you want an outstanding draftsman who goes way above and beyond, then Ryan is your man. He has been totally professional, trustworthy and has gone the extra mile in making our custom dream home a reality. Nothing has been too much for Ryan! He met with us promptly 1-1 as we had time restraints on our build and understood our need to engage someone asap. We shared our basic ideas, photos, pictures and Ryan immediately saw our vision and put it all into our plans. He always stuck to his word, delivering initial plans and additional drafts on time- working into the night and on the weekend. Ryan met with us online on numerous occasions with me saying, just 15 minutes and when it went overtime he was gracious and so understanding (thank you for the extra time dedicated to our build)! He even spoke to engineers on our behalf to confirm a number of technicalities concerning our site to ensure we were being realistic and working within our budget. Additionally, Ryan guided us on other planning issues and was able to direct us through the next step; structural engineers. Our house plans are even better that we could have imagined, thanks to Ryan's clever suggestions and great ideas. We are so excited to have our plans in hand!! Ryan was helpful from the day I first contacted him. Being my first major renovation, I didn’t know much about the process and the steps involved, but Ryan instantly made me feel comfortable and informed so I was therefore happy to have him work on our project after our 5 minute initial phone call. Absolutely loved working with Hinterland Drafting. We had some idea of what we wanted to achieve and Ryan enhanced it and brought it to life for us.its always harder to renovate than do a new build and this project was challenging because we had a 30 year old build with a strange layout and also wanted to extend the existing house.We had worked with an architect on a previous project and were left disappointed so it was refreshing working with Hinterland.
