Really great atmosphere. Kyle has a lot experience backing up his training plans. This is a great place for people who have little to no experience lifting I went from struggling to squat the 20kg empty bar to squatting 80kg in under 3 months. The trainer, Kyle, and the other members are very accepting and encouraging and really let me feel comfortable in the gym. As I whole my quality of life has improved a lot and highly recommend this gym!!-Kris

Kyle runs a garage gym from his home in Clayton South. He has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of weight lifting and is able to present this in a way that is easy to understand and safe and effective to implement. As a Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, I regularly encourage clients to lift weights for fitness benefits and Kyle is able to provide a supportive environment to undertake this in. Athletic Club is great gym if you’re looking to elevate your training and learn the core fundamentals in strength. Over the last 6 months I have been educated not only in my training (reps, cues, progressive overload and journaling) but a history class on your everyday world topics. I know I’ll be informed in my sessions with Kyle! Looking forward to smashing more PBs!

I trained with Kyle for a full year and gained both strength and discipline.Prior to this, I was a gym junkie and thought I had a lot of experience and knowledge, although I was still lacking in the strength department. You can read as much as you wish, but you need a proper coach to fix your technique if you want to make any progress. And that's exactly what Kyle is, a proper coach. He won't hold your hand while you do some silly stuff and sweat a bit. He will teach you the correct technique and then patiently work with you while you gain tons of strength, muscle and confidence.If you are tired of going to the gym and not getting results, go to Kyle and learn what training really is.

ACE is a great community with a fantastic coach. Kyle tailors your program to your individual needs and has a keen eye for form. I came in with a busted back and slipped disc and 18 months later I'm squatting and deadlifting with no flare ups, at weights above and beyond my own training maxes. Going to the gym is much less of a chore when you have great people by your side with similar goals and encouragement or even just good conversation!

Friendly and supportive gym environment. Kyle has the knowledge to get you into lifting or improve your lifts. I was a lifting newbie and I felt reassured that Kyle was focused on teaching me the basics in a way that kept me safe and prevented injury.

If you want to get strong, fix your injuries and age-related orthopedic problems, Kyle is your man. The environment is warm and welcoming and seems custom built for making you better at whatever you do. Kyle is a font of strength wisdom and has been successful at training all sorts of normal people. Highly recommend.
