Excellent Seminar Delivery & Subject Matter Expertise:My business engaged Ben and Sam from Kaizen K9 to fly across to our facility in Melbourne and deliver their Connecting Through Play curriculum.Across the course of 2 days Ben demonstrated excellence in all regards.The theory part of his presentation was concise yet suitably deep, and delivered forth something significant to offer the diverse range of experience levels attending.Approximately 12 dog and handler teams of widely varying experience levels participated, which is a mind blowing number for any instructor delivering such a course.The dog teams I selected to present to Ben in seminar included many very challenging dogs with highly problematic backgrounds, to include no less than 5 dogs that have had long term issues. Also included were a number of dogs that have very vigorous and robust characters.Despite this high number of teams the coaching delivered to each individual team was minimal without producing any limitations, yet flexible enough to provide each team with insightful, immediately actionable improvements.ALL dog and handler teams experienced tangible improvements across both days of work, which was very clearly evident to all that attended. In fact, this was a constant source of conversation during the breaks in the program.As a veteran of 20+ years of professional dog training experience I can unreservedly say that this was amongst the best quality presentations I’ve seen delivered, and the feedback that I have received from the 27 participants that attended has been universally superb.Ben and Sam have much to be proud of as a result of this event.

KAIZEN K9 has been a huge part of my dog Sullivan's life since he was enrolled in puppy class. Each course I have completed has provided me with more tools and understanding. The environment, classes, support, culture and practice/theory are a solid 10/10. I cannot recommend Ben and his team enough and can't wait for Sul's next term ahead.

Highly recommend the Kaizen K9 “Connecting Through Play” seminar. I attended as a pet dog owner and found the structure of the seminar really beneficial particularly how it started with some theory then went into the practical work. Having the opportunity to work my own dog was so valuable and could see significant improvement in my dogs’ play over the 2 days. But what I found most interesting and helpful was watching other people work their dogs and be coached to see the training techniques be played out on a variety of different breeds and temperaments.Ben is a fantastic speaker, genuine and super engaging. As a coach, he is patient, straight forward in his direction and a wealth of knowledge.Definitely consider attending a Kaizen K9 seminar if you have the opportunity. I will certainly be attending the next one they host in Melbourne!Thanks for making the trip Ben & Sam!

Attended the connecting through play seminar last week, cannot recommend highly enough. Booked my spot hoping for some tips on how to play with my dog. Came away with vastly deeper knowledge of how dogs learn, how to improve clarity of communication to my dog and so much more!! I have no doubt the seminar was only touching on the depths of Ben's knowledge and experience and cannot wait for another opportunity to learn from the Kaizen team! Thank you again

Thanks Ben and Sam for an amazing seminar -Connect through Play. I loved that I have more tools in my tool belt to ensure that my dog has the best quality of life. She already loves play but by doing this workshop I can now play with her better. You guys are professional but deliver content in a real world manner.Thanks again for a great weekend.

We had our initial training consultation with Ben Allen yesterday and he was fantastic. He has a lot of knowledge on the genetics of our breed of dog and helped us to understand their traits and tendencies as well as his basic needs. He was non-judgemental and happy to work with you on whatever you wanted to work on. He wasn't pushy about booking further sessions however was more than happy to see us again in the future.
