It was an absolute pleasure to complete my Diploma with the Institute of Makeup Artistry.The weekly payments were a blessing for me because they were directly debited and was no stress to me at all. I was able to see my payments within my profile, so it was a great way to keep track. The learning material - I can't express enough the detail that was put into the modules. My experience from start to finish was incredible! There was never a moment where I wanted to stop! Every assignment that I submitted, I received clear instruction/advice/compliments from my tutor Rachel that left me feeling so accomplished!To any person looking into this institute to study, I assure you that you will be beyond pleased. Just Aim, Begin, Achieve and Succeed!I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

I thoroughly enjoyed studying the IMUA Diploma course and have already recommended it to two people while on work experience. These two people shared an interest in SFX make-up but had other commitments that would prevent them from seeking a physical classroom, so this Diploma course would be a perfect resource for them. Especially during lockdown due to COVID-19 restrictions, being able to take my study uninhibited by restrictions was extremely helpful.

When I decided I want to study makeup artistry, I had read many reviews about the Institute of Makeup Artistry, and they were all so true. Studying at the institute was the right choice for me, especially during a year where we were all online. I could work at my own pace, experiment with what I wanted, and still get the assistance I needed.I learned a lot whilst studying at the Institute and feel like I have a whole new set of skills under my belt to take the next steps of my journey in the Makeup Artistry industry.

I would 100% recommend this course.The reading material is clear and precise, which helps when trying to complete the modules. Student support is always there to help! Not only are they both proactive and supportive, but they are also lovely people as well. This course has shown me ideas and techniques that I otherwise wouldn’t have known, ideas and techniques that I will be taking with me as I further develop and expand my knowledge and experience in the makeup industry. I have completed this course in two years, one for the Certificate and one for the Diploma, and it was honestly the best decision of my life. Before my enrollment, I started learning makeup with tutorial videos on the Internet, and this course levelled up my skills in an incredible way. Thanks to this course, I could participate in many films as a makeup artist when I was preparing for the Diploma and building a professional portfolio. I would recommend this course to anyone who has a passion for makeup, whether for a hobby or to start a professional career!

I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this certificate course. As a mum, I have loved the flexibility and being able to complete it at my own pace. The content is incredible. The tutorials are super detailed. I have learnt so many new techniques and have loved taking on challenges that I hadn’t faced before, like SFX and artificial hair. Both the student Facebook group and my tutor were amazing supports throughout. I highly recommend this course, whether you want to start out with makeup or further develop your skills. This course is fantastic! I loved learning new skills in the comfort of my home and on my own timeline. Being able to go back and re-watch the videos when needed was so useful. I would pick up something new each time. The tutor & student support are so helpful, motivating & willing to answer any & all my questions. I've enjoyed every minute of it.

I am a beauty therapist and makeup artist, and I wanted the opportunity to learn more skills. After much searching I decided on the Institute of Makeup - Certificate course, and I’m so glad I did! I have learnt so much and have so many more skills. I did things I would never have done, and it opened my eyes up to theatre and special effects, which were amazing.
