Rockdale Station
Nice and clean station on the route to Bondi junction. Good frequency of train service. Bus stand just adjoining the station. Get down here to reach Brighton beach side

Wanted to pay cash and buy a ticket - that should be available to every passenger wishing to travel. WASN'T AVAILABLE. CARD ONLY. I was told to go to 7-11 across the road and buy an opal card- shouldn’t a “Train Station” have this available to its customers. I have a broken foot, it was a mission getting there and back.WHAT A JOKE. POOR SERVICE.2 guards standing around talking, along with other employees- with nothing better to do. One of them could be selling tickets. And they want to strike and get more money- FOR WHAT???

Can’t say I really like this train station much. Never had a great experience waiting for a train here. You win some and you lose some and I generally always lose when I’m at Rockdale Station. A much needed upgrade should be in this station’s future. I mean it’s alright, but that’s about it.

Quite accessible with bus options right in front of station. This place is located in heart of shops and public transport so you can have a bite on the go.

This station is very quiet and nice. Plenty space available for passengers to onboard on train. Platform 2 & 4 usually runs toward city and 3 & 5 towards cronulla beach and so on. Its very neat and clean. I love this place. Elevator is available on this station from street to concourse and concourse to any platform. Very easy access to station from both side eight enter from railway parade or another street too. This station is heritage listed railway station located on Illawara line.
