We recently hired the whole restaurant out for my partner's 40th birthday. From the beginning when I booked the venue through to the evening itself, the team at Banco were outstanding. Thank you so much for an incredible evening with wonderful food, drinks and ambience. Best restaurant in Manly!

Dined here on a Thursday night. The atmosphere was great. Food was OK. We shared five dishes between the two of us. Level of service did not meet our expectations. For example, the wine bucket was kept away from us but our glasses were never filled without us requesting it.

Cool tapas bar vibe but avoid the food.For a few drinks at happy hour, great.So stick to happy hour cocktails but if you are a foodie then just avoid the food and avoid being disappointed.This is not a restaurant, it’s a tapas bar.The food is substandard, not only for the price but also in itself … like most “tapas” style bars where some cheap sausage is served on a small plate for 10x the price.The pork belly tacos are dripping with juices and the pork meat is of course cheap male meat so has boar taint.The $0.50 cauliflower on a hummus bed, yeah nice but for $28 it’s just a joke really.The wagyu is a chewy flank steak, the flavour is there but too hard and chewy to be considered “good”, even less at $54In fact all ingredients are cheap produce and cuts.Classic tapas place ripoff.The staff by the way is great but the food is just not there in terms of produce and craftsmanship.

We had a lovely experience at Banco!All of the food was great. It somehow managed to be innovative while still being tasty and substantial. I liked that most dishes came with a small salad which broke up the richness of the dishes beautifully.Definitely ask the staff for some recommendations for cocktails - there are some surprises available.We'll be back! Highly recommend.Edit: Just had another lovely evening at Banco. We had a cheeky 5.30pm dinner booking with the happy hour cocktails and snacks. We particularly enjoyed the HH prawns and cheese croquettes. The gold rush cocktail was also great. And the mini chocolate tarts were a perfect finish!

Our favourite local Manly restaurant. During winter they do Sunday roast dinner for $35 and on weekdays, nibbles and sips from 4.30-6.30pm for $10 each approx. Incredible food, amazing service and an awesome vibe is what keeps us coming back. Huge well done to the team!

Had incredible dining experience at Banco last night, from an incredible wine list, easily the best grilled octopus to fabulous staff (Pino!!) and beautiful venue. We will be back

Really happy with our experience here, especially the lovely staff! We booked for couples dinner through urban swan and the staff were great with dietary requirements and service. The food itself, of course, was fantastic and the serving sizes were perfect and left us happy. The vego option - harissa cauliflower on a bed of hummus - exceptional. The dessert was unreal, you’ll just need to try it for yourself. Not to mention that all the cocktails are incredible and the ones that we ended up trying both did not disappoint. We were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and I’m so happy that we stumbled across this restaurant!
