Chrismont - Cellar Door, Restaurant & Larder

Get the sage butter gnocchi! Staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Tasting was generous, great decaf coffee. Fabulous view over the King Valley

First time here and surprisingly the services and the food were so amazingly indescribable. It has made our trip worth driving to middle of no where. Great winery scenic view. It has many unique types of great wines. High recommended.

We’ve planned a visit to Chrismont for some time. We had high expectations and were not disappointed. The cellar door & restaurant are situated high on a Hill with magnificent views of King Valley. Our cellar door tasting was excellent - we got through the full list and enjoyed many of the wines. The lunch was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had such a great time and enjoyed the wines so much, we signed up for membership and departed with a full box of wines

We had a near perfect day at Chrismont winery. We were greeted by the friendly staff, and taken to our table that overlooked the glorious vines. We started with an entree each, and then went over to the tasting area, where Linda took us through a lovely selection of their wines. We settled on a sparkling red to go with our mains.Our main meals were spot on.I don’t dish out praise lightly, but I can say that the staff at Chrismont are superb in their care and attention. Highly recommended.

Brilliant service and food on our honeymoon visit to the Chrismont. The staff were kind and caring and very genuine. We were congratulated by at least 3 waitstaff and thought the food was delicious. We ordered two courses and were so full. I’m sure the deserts were fantastic too. The view is delightful and we would definitely return and recommend to others!

Cannot recommend Chrismont highly enough. The whole experience was absolutely amazing! Very friendly people - all of them. Very tasty and well curated menu. It’s really difficult to surprise us, but they did. Kudos! Delicious wines. They are bringing true Italian hospitality to Australia. After spending 2 hours there you fill like you are really long time family friend and you simply don’t want to leave. We will certainly come back many times! Lovely place, people, food and wines.

Part of our winery tour we stopped off at Chrismont Cellar Door, Restaurant and Larder at King Valley ~ an award winning culinary centre piece for lunch. Such beautiful views, friendly staff and scrumptious meals.For entrees we started with eggplant & smoked cheese croquettes with sriracha aioli, pickled beetroot & orange salad and Parmesan mouser and crumbed sardines with pan fried mozzarella, fresh seasonal mixed salad + a bowl of chips ~ great dishes to start of with yum yum yum.We moved onto mains ~ beef eye fillet served with chive tossed chats, seasonal vegetables & la Cass red wine jus served on a sizzling plate; saffron risotto with shredded ossobuco & King valley pine mushrooms; house-made white potato gnocchi served with lamb bolognese and stracchino; rolled chicken breast stuffed with truffle cheese cream, served with pumpkin purée, thinly crispy potatoes, masala & caramelised onion jus ~ what a feast to share amongst gorgeous friends. Affordable and well presented dishes with such wonderful flavours, such a selection that we all enjoyed!!!We then experienced the premium wines Chrismont had to offer.. tasting whites, red and sweet ones!!! Couldn’t resist buying a few more bottles to take home and enjoy .

Absolutely love the good vibe here. We got welcome by the Milo theLabrador in the car park. Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. Love the food from entrees to the desserts. Wines are worth to take home, love the Barbera which has a smooth delicate flavour. Worth to drive from Melbourne ❤️
