Kendall Showground

First Sunday of each month, the Kendall Showground Markets are held at the Kendall Showground from 8am to 12noon. Lots of great stalls. Food, coffee, #sweetlybaked, bacon and egg rolls. Fruit and vegetables, candles, jewellery, new clothes and new shoes, books, macrame, plants, seedlings, tools, fine bone china honey, eggs, sewing, knitting, crochet, cards, wood carvings and cooking. Whilst you are there make sure you visit the Kendall Men's Shed also at the Kendall Showground.

Lovely place to stay. Beautifully manicured grass sites with power and water. Excellent rates. Brand new, spacious amenities .

Excellent. Great caretaker. Very clean amenities. I think some of the more expensive caravan parks could take a lesson.

Cheapest and best camping I've been so far. The bathroom are always clean, hot shower, the campsite is big, big kitchen available etc ... I slept there 2 nights and it was amazing, you can come here without hesitation!

Not your typical showground, camping on a quarter of total area ,so a bit of a shame, lovely amenities, more like a small caravan park ,limited sites4 nights only

Shame about the four day maximum stay my only grip. One of the few privately owned showgrounds. Great grounds, with a full length footy field as well, and home to the Kendall Blues. Good modern amenities block. Handy EFT for payment.

Fantastic spot, you will need a code to access the amenities block if using, which were extremely clean, power & water available, peaceful and safe environment, thanks for having us.

A pleasant, quiet, out of the way show ground with bathrooms which offers travellers a nice place to pop their tent down for $25. Campsites generally close far too early so unless you arrive by 4pm it’s almost impossible to get access to a campground. Fortunately we were directed here and one can arrive anytime and pitch anywhere through an unlocked gate. A kind gentleman took our money for the night, sent us a code for the bathrooms and showed us the kitchen where one can cook eat or refrigerate/freeze one’s food and get drinking water. If he has left there is also an honesty box at the office. We were woken up by birdsong as we’d camped under a tree looking out over the grass show ground area. We left later than usual as no one was chasing us out before 10 am which resulted in a relaxing morning. It was very easy to get back onto the Pacific Highway from Kendall. So I highly recommend this to the traveller who wants an impromptu, safe and peaceful spot to camp for the night.
