Executive Hideaway Motel/Apartments, Benalla

Stayed there for 3 nights. They rob people of money by charging unnecessary fines. They expect their guest to do housekeeping and cleaning. Nonfunctional cooktop and heating system made our stay very uncomfortable. Staff are not contactable until 9:30 in the morning. Unfriendly staff. Overall very dodgy people. Charged us extra without our authorisation. Will never recommend anyone.

Normally very wary of 3 star places, but this motel exceeded my expectations. Very clean suites, nothing modern, of course, but the basics were excellent. Will come here again.

Such a frustrating experience and had our worst experience so far in Australia. Unfriendly staff, non-functional cook top, bad heating system and finally a very dodgy bunch of staff almost ruined our holidays. They charged us extra without proper communication and authorisation and I had to cancel my card to stop that unauthorised payment as their management didn't get back to me to justify the extra charge. All that they did was just a WhatsApp message to notify that they have charged us $100 for picking up few empty water bottles and couple of used tissues from the floor. Funny thing is they claimed that they had to do deep cleaning for that although deep cleaning is only required when a positive Covid case gets detected. They tried to fool us and this mean attitude will cost their business terribly in the long run. Will never recommend anyone to go there.

Staffs are not only unfriendly or unhelpful, but also unprofessional… The room had an outdated A/C and the A/C on the Lounge didn't Work in this freezing cold Weather. Oven was not working properly with some dirty kitchen utensils there. They charged extra money for cleaning ( very disappointing)…… WILL not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone….....

I have been staying here for business trips the past 10 years each 6-8 weeks & always found it a great place to stay with clean rooms, lovely grounds & gardens & spacious living.Unfortunately since the old owners sold approx. 3 years ago the place has gone way down hill. Rooms may appear clean however I had reason to remove the cushions on the couch & found crumbs & rubbish down each side of the couch. I'm sure the floors get a vacuum so why not try & lift or moves things to clean under said cushions.The overall appearance of the gardens & grounds are quite disgraceful with overgrown weeds everywhere & shrubs in desperate need of pruning.Also trying to get a tax invoice from them was a chore with multiple requests made for a copy.There is no evidence of any electrical safety compliance tags on any of the outdated electrical appliances which is a concern.New but now established owners need to pick up their game & bring this back to former standards.The positive is the new beds are great. Very comfy however new pillows would be nice

Standard motel units. Very large on the inside for easy movability. The shower has no step in. Large tv in the living room. Fully setup kitchen however oven is very small. Single beds are on rollers so easily moved however when put togather they just rolled apart. The room smelt of cleaning products on arrival.

Room 14 overnight on 24 October. Toothpaste spat all over bathroom basin spout. This is unacceptable. My sister cleaned it. Carpet not vaccumed properly. Appeared to be small area of dried blood on blanket in bedroom 2. Gardens full of weeds. Nobody at reception on arrival or departure.

Excellent service the layout of the villas was a surprise .Each separate with a lovely seating area,Unit had everything you would need.Lovely lounge area and kitchen,love the power shower.Beds comfortable ,plenty of room, would be nice to stay longer as facilities good and near hospital.Would be fine for families in the summer with the pool.Thank you Jack for all your attention.Finding us the perfect room.

Not great It obviously has fallen on hard times. Must have been good in its day. Just needs some dollars and a bit of love. Kitchen stove etc are very marginal. Overall, just very run down Bed was good
