Breakwater Bar and Restaurant
Very pleasant view of the harbour and breakwater. Food was a good portion and served hot. The decor is clean and beachy but there is a loud echo quality. It would be a fantastic venue to have dinner in a storm.

The service by Steph was excellent. Even with the added touch of putting a tag on our take away box, as there was so much food, wishing us a happy anniversary. Great job.

Best to get a booking rather than a walk-in. Trawlers Catch was absolutely amazing, each item on this dish were so well cooked, delicious and fresh. Would definitely return for more before I leave this beautiful town.They also do buffet breakfast every Sat & Sun 8.30-10.30am which offers a great selection of breakfast items. This was one of the best found breakfast dining in Mackay.

A good restaurant - a nice relaxed atmosphere and tasty food. Complements to the staff, despite the busy night they were very considerate and always made sure to check on each table. The only negative is was the long waiting time for the food.

First time dining here for my sister in laws birthday. The food was great, service good and atmosphere pleasant. Sufficient free parking. We'll definitely be returning.

We went for the Sunday buffet breakfast for my birthday. Found it to be very well organised, fresh food rotation and always topped up. Great veriety and very reasonable prices. 10 out of 10 for us, will be back.

Fathers day buffet lunch. Great selection of food. Seafood, chicken, beef, vegetarian, pasta, rice and heaps of fresh salads. Desserts were extra but didn't have the room for any anyway. Food was fantastic and plentiful and the view was excellent. Will come back again for dinner.

Staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a really good variety of food and all was very tasty and fresh. Coffees took a long time to arrive but place was very busy.Lovely spot with great views to eat at any time of day. Definitely recommend.
