Coal 'n' Cattle
The Coal n Cattle always do good steak so we always go back for more. I've tried lots of other things on the menu too and I have never had a bad meal there yet. My only complaint is they give you way too much food and I can never eat it all..feel like I have to be rolled out cos I'm so full. Great for big guys with big appetites though. Prices are reasonable too. Definitely recommend.

Good location, Budget accomodation.The first room I was given had a faulty AC, the rooms were clean, and basic as budget accomodation is.The rooms shake a bit when patrons in the building walk around which could be a problem for light sleepers, but my room at the rear was quiet.The receptionist took my breakfast order on checking in. I found in the morning there was no breakfast available anyway (the weekend maybe)I had some bad luck and misinformation.Next time I’ll try different accomodation.

Delicious meals, fresh ingredients, plenty of variety to suit everyone. Extremely clean restaurant dining area and friendly service. Entertainment pack for kiddies with kids meal, drink and icecream. Open seven days a week, drive through bottle shop. A short walk to the Lions park camp across the road, past a fantastic memorial that lights up different colours at night. Definitely worth the stop, highly recommended.

VERY poor hygiene and cleaning routines. My Doona had multiple stains including a blood stain and on request for another doona we were told there were none - however after further complaints to the manager, new ones appeared out on our tables.The water in the shower also had a funny smell so gross!

Room was very simple but amazingly clean. Service was amazing. Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. Room only $99 which included beautifully cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Rang and asked about gf options, was told they had plenty. Got here they had grilled steak, chicken and fish. One sauce, but it had dairy so no go. Side options were mash and veg, or chips and salad. Chips weren't gf, neither was salad dressing. Mash had dairy. So hubs had plain steak and salad with no dressing. I had the thinnest cut tbone on earth with veg. Not impressed.

Came here for a feed recommended by someone from work. Was only in town for two nights. The food was very well prepared, the size of the food was large and filled me up pretty good. The steak was tender and cooked medium rare like I asked. The chips were fresh and crispy. The salad was fairly decent. Seevice was excellent and the beers were cold. Place was a bit dimly lit which I suppose was good atmosphere. The price of the meals were not cheap but OK for the quality. Would definitely come back again when I'm in town. Worth a visit if you're around as well.
