This place is the WORST! Advertised on Ubereats and menu log as KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN restaurant and have absolutely no idea how to make it. Was expecting korean fried chicken and got served battered chicken breast pieces. Asked for a garlic sauce and was given a thick garlic broth soup. This place is the lowest and be careful ordering on Uber eats this place advertises as 7 different places on Uber eats. DO NOT ORDSR FROM HERE!!!!!!

Ordering through UberEats. There were small pieces of meat in the mixed vegetables, I also had multiple hairs in my dish (one of the hairs is shown in picture). They operate under multiple different names on UberEats, so research before you buy.In regards to the response that I had ordered tofu, yes I know those large pieces were tofu, obviously, but there were other pieces of meat and it’s happened to me before. The multiple hairs in my dish were my biggest concern.

The restaurant was empty. It was early. We “were” regular customers. The young girl who was working there asked in a condescending manner if “I needed help”. I politely replied that we would like a table for 4. She asked if I had a booking and replied no.She then proceeded to say we are not taking table service because they were short staffed.I questioned as to why then would she need to ask if I had a booking? It made no sense. And there were no signs saying no table service.Oh well… $120 plus investment will go to another business. If she can’t serve tables and run the counter, she should reconsider her job.Nothing number 1 about number 1.I hope they can find good staff.

Ordered at 2:54 pm on menulog and it was supposed to be delivered by the restaurant at 3:40pm but got the food at 4:48 pm.Food was rubbish good for nothing.Spent $33 dollars for Friedrice and wanton.Worst service I called them to know what's happen with my order the person on the other end of the phone told me it will take another 40 minutes and was not a bit appolegitic.Don't waste your money by buying from them.

I had ordered a wonton soup via door dash today, the soup was inedible and off tasting!! Truly one of the most disgusting things I've ever tried to eat.The only reason for two stars is because the dumplings with hot chilli oil were okey, not the best but edible.

Arrived with my partner and friend for a lunch. We were told straight away that it was take away only. I ordered lemon chicken, partner sweet and sour pork and our friend satay sticks.Sauces were cold not heated, pork tough to eat and dry. Chicken was slightly tough to eat.Friend ordered something that thought had 3 pieces but got 2 pieces and weren't tasting of satay more like curry.Fried rice was half cooked.

Quality of food is terrible. Ordered from uber eat 2 dishes and a soup and the sesame prawn. Worst Chinese take away I had.First things first.... everything taste super salty. Broccoli is old and hard.... ie chewy. Added tofu.... no tofu.Ordered kung pao chicken.... tastes like soy sauce chicken..... no Szechuan taste or spice in it at all. Not even a hint of spice. Terrible. Looked totally different than what is advertised or everywhere else I had ate this. Why is it soaked in sauce....??? Looked and tastes more like stir-fry vegie with chicken. By the way... we found half a dried Chili in the whe dish.... yes I said half.Ordered my chicken shark fin soup.... taste like drinking soy sauce..... my God.... seriously....Lastly the sesame prawn toast.... feels like biting on salty toast...We tried to force it in and tried to eat it.... but. Sorry... I don't want to have a heart attack.Last photo is the food that is going to be wasted.Hope they can put some care and love into cooking the food. This is really disappointing. After all this constructive review from so many customers feedback, do anyone or the owner actually doing anything to make it better.I added a photo from their site... kung pao chicken.... and compare it to what I was given.... speechless...

26/12/22 - this restuarant is operating under FIVE identities now on uber eats.1) Gourmet No. 12) Chinese on Main Street3) Taste of Asia4) Steam'd (Pakenham)5) Noodle Hut‐------‐-----END UPDATE ---------Before I proceed with this review, please know that I contacted the restaurant and voiced my concerns regarding my order prior to leaving this review. I was told by the girl that answered the phone, that if she received bad food, she would leave a bad review. So, here it is:They operate under 'Gourmet No. 1 Chinese Restaurant' AND 'Chinese on Main Street' through UberEats. I ordered via UberEats using 'Chinese on Main Street' as I did not want to order food from Gourmet No.1.Ordered San Choi Bow with chicken. Mix was made with frozen diced mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots & perhaps cauliflower?), there were approx. 3 little pieces of chicken (not a mince). Sauce was overpowering (I love salt but even I had issues with this). Heavy soy taste with oyster sauce I think. On a positive note, the Cos lettuce leaves were fresh. Pic attached of contents of San Choi Bow - sorry no chicken pieces as there were only 3.Ordered Combination mixed meat/seafood and veg. Extremely large amount of celery chunks. One prawn (household fight is on!) Sauce was pretty much the same as the San Choi Bow. I'm so grateful I ordered the steamed rice (which was OK) because I wouldn't have been able to eat the combo on it's own. It was extremely salty. Pic attached.I look forward to splurging on Chinese once in a while and was really disappointed - so much so, I've sat down to write a review! If your looking for beautiful, flavorsome, balanced chinese food, this is unfortunately not the answer.
