The staff made our evening, great meal and drinks - our group enjoyed the company of other guests during our meal.While the room was needing some brightening up - the beds comfortable, the shower great everything we needed for a comfortable night.Thank you for your hospitality.

After driving all day this place was amazing! Spent most of the evening in the bar talking to Rav and another guest. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

We did not stay overnight, but visited for dinner and drinks tonight. Have you ever walked in the door of a public bar and had the landlord come out from behind the bar to personally greet you at the door and introduce himself? We just did. Rav provided outstanding service to everyone in the 2+ hours we were there. He chatted amicably with the dozen people in his bar, introduced people to each other, and helped create a friendly atmosphere between the locals, itinerant workers and tourists . We didn't feel like we were in a public place, more like we were at a friend's house. We ordered a seafood basket, salad and chips for dinner, something available in a million places; yet this tasted superb! After a long day of driving, we left feeling totally refreshed. Many thanks, Rav, you are a champion who really understands what your business is about.

Quality service and great staff. Will be returning in the future

There were no smoke alarms in the room the bath room was filthy would not return. Manager was friendly & very helpful. No draught beer in pub bar opened 6.30pm.

We have just spent a weekend in Room 8 of the Alpha Hotel Motel.Undercover parking for our vehicle and our border Collie was welcome.The room was clean and spacious and the beds comfortable.The hosts Eve, Rav and Kal were incredibly hospitable and never hesitated to take time out of a very busy schedule to have an enjoyable conversation with us.The food was absolutely delicious.After a few tough years of covid, this may not be the Ritz but it is a genuinely friendly country pub offering comfortable accommodation and truly great meals.We would not miss the opportunity to return.Wendy and Russ

If the owners weren’t such friendly welcoming people I wouldn’t give it 1 star. Rav told us “if it wasn’t for people like us dropping in they wouldn’t survive”, I’m thinking that places like this shouldn’t survive!Nothing about this rundown worn out ramshackle collection of structures is attractive. Our room was clean but horrid, the bar was friendly but awful, the food was delicious but overpriced, the staff welcoming but oblivious to their surroundings. And then you get the bill and wonder where the value is, but no matter how may times you tell yourself it’s a tiny struggling town in the middle of no where, it’s still a big pill to swallow.

This whole town was closed over the Christmas period. Good luck anyone travelling through
