Zap Fitness 24/7 Moonah

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oct 2022: After a full overhaul and renovation, Zap Moonah is better. Still not enough equipment, but the new layout and Reno have definitely freshened up a once sad tired gym. I would have been a five star rating, had it not been for a very unpleasant and rude encounter with a manager on site. Although resolved by way of verbal apology from head office, it still left a sour taste behind. Hopefully we'll be able to reach five stars soon.⭐⭐⭐ April 2022: Sadly this place is super popular, yet the owners have removed half the equipment. Once able to conduct a full rotation workout, now you're left waiting in an awkward queue like scenario for the one or two remaining items of equipment. Poor form.

The patrons couldn't park straight if their lives depended on it, but Jackson is a legend. Good range of equipment. Busy during peak hours.

The gym is not bad. It has all equipment one regular fitness person needed. However, pathetic customer service. I joined the gym and missed my payment by 1 day and I was charged $10 for missing my payment without any notice. When I told this issue to receptionist and she didn't even care instead made me realise that its my fault. Are you joking?

Great place to workout and reduce weight and supporting people and staff are there; having a good time over there and also with options to work out at different facilities of ZAP at a very cheap rate as 1$ added to your existing plan that you can opt for. A very good ideal place and to go with mates for extra motivation

It's a decent gym but with no showers apart from disabled toilet it kind of a let down, would have expected atleast 2 normal showers for a large gym like that.

Now the renovations are done. Zap Moonah, would have to be one of the best gyms in Tasmania.Great staff, ample space. And ample equipment

I have given five stars because the Zap peeps recently refurbished the Moonah, Tas, gym. Great to see they value customers enough to put money back into the business and improving our gym experience.

People that go to this gym can’t figure out how to put away weights. I have never seen such a messy gym. Deadlift set ups with 150kg on the bar bell just left there. Weights and dumbbells all over the floor. It’s chaos!

I'm pretty satisfied overall with Zap Moonah. I live in Lenah Valley so the site is just down the road (has parking). Recently refurbished, roomy, nice and light; and nice staff. All good. Only bother is some of the youngsters occasionally 'hog' the machines while (presumably) checking their email/social media. Us old blokes find that somewhat annoying............
