Popped in for a quick drink right on open, cosy 1920's atmosphere with friendly staff.Reasonable selection of drinks and food with plenty of cocktails to choose from.Would return

the place is beautiful but customer service is disappointing. Staff was always interrupting abruptly our table while we were having a nice talk and they were always rushing us. From start to end. We took sometime to read the menu and they kept rushing and rushing. They need to learn how to be gentle and polite. Drinks are okay but nothing special.

Located down an alley, the 1920s classic cocktail basement bar is filled with jazz, swing and dance band music. Has a great Gatsby, brick and mortar cellar, art deco aesthetic. Very busy Saturday night I'd recommend booking prior. Tonight the music volume was high which made it yelling conversations to the person next to you. Drink service was quick, quite a loud place, however had fun ordering a few glasses of gin

They’d rather give benefit to a new age female girl than believe a middle age guy about nothing… and kick him out for said nothing… Good luck with that gentlemen. What a shame a nice venue falls to this victimisation tactics by an outspoken female stitch up.

Had the best time. Took a visitor from overseas and we all had a great time here. Awesome atmosphere and excellent staff.Thanks to the waitress Tiff who was awesome. We will be back for sure.

A nice hidden bar with interesting concept! We came for pre dinner drinks & easily got a seat. Staff was friendly and enthusiastic! Cocktails were yummy but not overly impressive or special.

I don’t know if you’d necessarily call this a hidden gem because I’m sure it’s well known, but it is underground in a quiet lane way off George St. I think Sydney gives Melbourne a run for it’s money with bars like this. Great people, live music and speakeasy vibes!

Went to Palmer & Co for a date, very nice aesthetics but that's about all. Staff were rude right from the beginning and when the bartender asked me how to make an 'old fashion' we left. I definitely do not recommend, and I definitely won't be going back.
