I would not recommend Ian Wood Optometrist . I have had an eye examination three times . The last time I informed them that my eyes had deteriorated since the last test a year ago. I was examined and told my eyesight had not really changed and that the need to cataracts was very low, I received a script for the result of the exam .As they are expensive I went to OPSM to have this script filled and to get new lenses. I told OPSM I was not sure that Ian Wood's information was correct, but decided that they must be right eh as many people in Kilmore go to them and it must be me !. I collected the glasses with the new lenses in Sept and straight away found I could not read books or close things like screenshots. I phoned Ian Wood's office and found them very unhelpful and lacking in kindness . Tehy said they would retest but they would not assist with any costs incurred as it was not their warranty issue. Last week I went to OPSM and had my eyes retested and they did find my eyes had deteriorated and my eyes would need cataracts within a year . They are arranging for new lenses at no cost. I also spoke to two other Kilmore residents who also say that Ian Wood is too expensive and not helpful. I am very disappointed
