Our cleaner was unreliable. They would alter their days and times at the last minute. Rarely turned up on time and lost our keys and access fob this cost us over $500 to replace. Despite being told not to clean our 8k TV there was overspray and chemicals on the screen. They also broke a chess set without telling us and didn’t use the specified cleaning products as instructed. Also smoked in the common property of the building despite being told not to.The people at Head Office couldn’t have cared less. Poor response and didn’t want to get involved. Yet sent an email asking for our business back after we cancelled the service without addressing the issues. Terribly unprofessional, no care or responsibility taken.We would have been better off posting an ad on Gumtree or Marketplace ourselves!Do yourself a favour and avoid this company.Representatives of Absolute Domestics please do not attempt to contact me, you’ve had your chance.

We used Absolute for 12 years. Their cleaners can be quite good ( we have had a few over the years) but the local territory managers are inept, if they are getting paid a commisson for placing cleaners they are getting paid too much!Dont waste your time - what was once a decent cleaning company, needs to have its own cleanout - very disappointing.

Watch how you're quoted. I was repeatedly told 235 for the first three hours and then 60 per hour thereafter. At the end of the clean I was told this price was for EACH cleaner. I have never had this experience before. Terrible way to treat customers. And that pricing is excessive.

I booked Bharatkumar & Gayatri for 3hrs to help me get ready for a rent inspection and they were great! So friendly and a huge help getting things ready and clean. Would recommend and use again.

I'm not one to post a review, but I would hate for others to have the same experience. My partner and I booked a 2 hour fortnightly clean that was around $80. I had great contact with the cleaner, we left her a note with the things we would like done as we both work full time. She sent me a text to let me know she had just cleaned one bathroom (this was a normal size and not particularly dirty) and that she had not gotten to anything else on the list except for cleaning our stove (not what I had asked her to do). I rang Absolute Domestics and was assured we would get a refund from the cleaner, but they would need to contact her first. I didn't hear from them the next day so I gave them a call, they still hadn't managed to get a hold of her. Called them the next day and they still hadn't gotten a hold of her. I asked what else could be done as we were now out $80 with not a whole lot to show for it and I was told that nothing else could be done that they would send out a 5 star" cleaner next time (for another $80)

I used this company for a few months and I was happy with my cleaner. She then went on holidays and I was sent a temporary cleaner who was beyond slow. Paid this second cleaner for 2.5 hour for I don’t know what?!Absolute Domestics then confirmed my original cleaner will return, only to be stuffed around when my original cleaner returned-calling in sick and then telling me she was booked out and had not time in her schedule for me anymore?!Very unprofessional and unreliable

I’m not normally the type of person to write a bad review. However, I would hate for anyone else to experience what we’ve had to go through. And it seems I’m not the only person to be disappointed by this company after reading a few other reviews.After waiting two weeks for a cleaner, one was finally sent out.They admitted to sending us an inexperienced cleaner with no prior training for our first clean after calling to complain. It was very obvious she didn’t know what she was doing when I arrived home and almost laughed at how much of a bad job she had done, it looked like the house hadn’t been cleaned at all. (I felt bad for the young girl because the company really should be training their contractors if they’re going to be representing their brand.) After contacting the company about the issue we were told we would be contacted the next day. We were contacted the next day and asked by the lady on the phone if we could pay the cleaner for the little bit of work she had done. We replied no as we would have cleaned it ourselves it we wanted a half/ quarter job. They then said they would get a cleaner out to us the same week and we never heard back from them. We decided to cancel the service as it was completely inappropriate and left us with more stress. The whole point of getting a cleaner was to make our lives a little easier and it ended up being even more of a hassle.I wish I checked the reviews on this company before going ahead :(

Cleaner cancelled the booking 5 times over the course of a 2 week period and wasn’t flexible on a rescheduling time. We have 3 kids and we rearranged our day 5 times for a no show each time. Absolutely unacceptable.

Absolutely shocking. This was for an end of lease clean. The cleaner was more concerned with how much he was not prepared to do. I also paid extra for extra services including the range hood (attached picture). He also came with very little tools and cleaning products. One of each. The quality of cleaning was below poor and a lot of places were completely skipped like the back of the toilet. I was also advised by absolute domestics that they don’t do refunds and let my end of lease inspection go ahead and if there are any issues he will come back and charge me. Do not recommend and will not use ever again.
