Very dry in late December- you will need a good set of binoculars to see the pelicans. Good opportunity to stretch legs on a short bush walk. Plenty of native plants to see.

Peaceful spot to take in the beauty of the Coorong only 1 hour south of Meningie, trecking to Kingston S.E. Pelicans grace the skies.

Lovely place to stop on your drive. Good views. Explore the rocky beach covered in salt water dune plants. No toilet facilities. Nice short walk from the carpark.

Best if you have a pair of binoculars,main nesting island is at least 500metres away, interesting facts of pelicans and easy walk to shelter,caravan turnaround.

The road entrance is sandy, but can drive in and stop at carpark. It is very hot & dry when we arrived.

Bring binoculars, amazing view of hundreds of pelicans. Short walk out to the observation area and some wildlife along the walk like wallabies, and many smaller birds. Worth stopping in if you're in the area

Short 10 min walk from carpark info boards throughout the walk to observatory (shelted lookout) with info boards to learn more about the pelicans.Sand and rocky path up and down as you walk, but easy walk for those able.
