Kuljak Island (Black Swan Island) is in Ascot, Western Australia. The Perth city centre is 20 minutes away, but Kuljak Island is a tranquil place to visit to get away for a little while. The only structures on the Island are strategically placed Gazebos that are large enough for approximately ten people—things to do on the Island. Walk the outer perimeter, and this will take 40 minutes if you are in a hurry. Cycles around, walk the dog, bring a picnic lunch and run around the Island as many times as you like. Check it out for yourself and remember to place your rubbish in the bins or take it with you. Enjoy!

Great for walk of about 2.5km. Bring spray for the mosquitoes and make sure you visit the toilet beforehand as there are no toilets.

Perfect spot to walk the dog or ride your bike with a great mix of paved pathways and gravel tracks along the outside of the island. Also a nice place to watch the sunrise or sunset on the river
