We had the grain salad and the house made pasta and they were delicious. Nice place for a quick bite.

Once an exclusive restaurant and only opening at night. This place has now smartly turned the morning hours into a cafe and very expensive food/grocery shop with many hard to find upmarket European brands.As for the coffee, it was good but not amazing just a good cup of coffee no better than the surrounding cafes offer. The courtyard outside is pleasant but crowded and seemed to get busy right from opening time and waiting patrons were impatiently looking at our table hoping we’d leave before savouring our coffee.I’ve been told the Portuguese egg tarts or “custard tarts” (absolutely look nothing like Aussies are used to) are very good, but didn’t have a chance to try them. Maybe next time. Overall a pleasant coffee and experience save for the rush.

Their pork and fennel sausage roll changed me. And I’m all the better for it. You must try it, it will make you a better person.Perfect sausage to pastry ratio. The pork sausage sourced from the local butcher across the road is fresh and tasty and the fennel and other herbs make it a delicious transcendent experience.It’s paired perfectly with a chilled ‘Drunken sailor’ tomato relish that acts as the proverbial cherry on top.

Great service and vibe although the mains were on the slow side. The quality of all food was amazing. The pasta was even a touch before al dente, they really could have left it in another minute but overall we were very impressed

Big fan of this place. The chicken bun is probably the best I’ve ever had... perfectly cooked schnitzel, well seasoned, with crunchy lettuce on the softest bun... Get it with chili to elevate the flavour even more!No visit is complete without a batch brew, browsing the deli shop and taking home a few of their custard buns.Would love to see the lunch menu expanded in the future — maybe utilizing some of their artisan deli meats in another handmade pasta dish or something similar.

Favourite go to in the central coast! Have been here a couple times now and the pasta and all foods we’ve tried have been absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.The pasta is the right amount of al dente and super tasty. We especially love the seafood one with the breadcrumbs (not pictured here)

Sourdough bread stick and cheese bought first to take home. Then l smelt the coffee and had one in house, only to buy an Italian pastry as l was leaving. I couldn't go home without one of those delicious pastries for my husband who is still working in the poky little room out the back, from the lockdowns. No office space now, so working from home is it.

Really great Italian on the coast... they often have amazing specials too which I love!This is a gnocchi from last week with spicy Italian sausage and delicious soft cheese... it was incredible! I suggest you make a booking... walk ins not always possible

Real shame their coffee has gone downhill, this used to be my favourite place for coffee. Now it’s weak and tastes watery, they overfill t/a cups so it drips out the side of the lid and all over your hands and in the cup holder in the car. Feels like they don’t know how to make or serve their product. This has happened a couple of times now. Such a shame but I won’t be going back
