Can't speak highly enough of the Daiwa Team, in both spares and service. In the years gone by they have always been willing to help and have provided A-grade service on my reels when needed. Recently I had to obtain some spare parts for an older Alphas reel (original purple model), and as usual the Team managed to help me out for exactly what I needed. A big thanks to both Jaydon (spares) and Anthony (service) for your help and advice.

I had trouble with the drag on a near new spinning reel. I contacted Daiwa spares and repairs. The customer service I encountered was exceptionally poor and actually rude. So I wont buy Daiwa again. I have experienced the same with Shimano btw. They seem to have forgotten that without customers they become nothing. Thanks and get stuffed.

Great staff in the service dept! Friendly and know their stuff back to front!Has a recent issue where i buggered up a reel while trying to do some home maintenance. The team in the service centre undid my damage and got it sorted out quickly and without fuss.I've never had any issues getting warranty repairs sorted out - they never quibble or look for ways to get out of a warranty repair.For non-warranty repairs (like my self-inflicted reel issue) they're quick and don't gouge you for money.5* - highly recommended!!!

I bought 2 AIRD LT 6000-H reels. They both seized after 2 months. On both reels, the live line small plastic switch on the front of them stopped clicking into place. This stopped any reeling in or out.I go offshore and lightly wash them after each trip.I will never buy Daiwa again.

My Partner bought his daiwa hyper 702lxs last jan.5 2021. 3 days ago the rod wouldnot separate and he tried pulling out and bent one of the rings. Went to the tackle shop where he bought it and they put a glue on it and was told to take off the glue if he wanted to but it cracked the covering. Contacted warranty and advised to just go to a local repairshop and cant do anything about it. Their warranty sucks. He was devastated. Never going to buy daiwa product again
