Merriwa Railway Station
Worth the while to have a look at the old station and yard. Looked a bit down at heel when I was there early 2020. Just beware of the long grass and odd snake.

Merriwa Railway Station
Such a beautiful part of the world with a beautiful piece of history. Lovely little town. Glad they have kept their train station. Hopefully, the New South Wales Government will restore the Merriwa Line between Merriwa & Sandy Hollow & run passenger trains back on this line to & from Newcastle Interchange via Muswellbrook. The locals who keep this place maintained are doing a great job. Look forward to seeing Hunter Railcars terminating back to Newcastle, here again.
