I recently had the pleasure of visiting North Sydney’s newest bakery, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the aroma of freshly baked pastries and the warm smiles of the staff. The bakery offers a wonderful selection of delectable treats, alongside exceptional coffee and top-notch customer service.Speaking of coffee, their baristas truly know their craft. They create each cup with high-quality coffee beans, resulting in a rich and flavorful experience. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just looking for a pick-me-up, you won’t be disappointed.Now, let’s talk about the pastries. The Signature Chocolate Croissant stole the show for me. It was a delightful combination of flaky pastry and rich, luscious chocolate. Pairing it with their coffee was an absolute delight and something I highly recommend.The bakery itself is a feast for the eyes. The interior space is beautifully designed, providing a serene and pleasant atmosphere. It’s a hidden gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Pacific Highway. If you’re in need of a quiet and soothing spot to enjoy gorgeous pastries and delicious hot drinks, this is the place to be.In addition to their exceptional chocolate croissant, the bakery offers a range of other winning pastries. The Gruyère and chicken, as well as the mushroom pastries, were absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying.Overall, visiting this bakery is an absolute must. With its delicious pastries, excellent coffee, and friendly customer service, it’s a hidden treasure in St Leonardos . Treat yourself to a visit and indulge in their mouthwatering creations. Pastries and coffee were sooo good. I was coming for their croissant but was blown away by their coconut cube and sausage bread. So soft and yummy.

I only got their basic croissant but it was buttery (but not too buttery), airy and had many layers. Very good croissant! Cold brew was good too.

5 Stars for their coffee (they roasted their own beans) and another 5 stars for their pastries.Lovely venue, friendly owners and staff.Definitely will recommend LAYERS to my friends.Lots of parking around.

Beautifully made pastries within a fabulous interior space. Tucked away from the hustle bustle of pacific highway, this cafe is a little hideaway that is quieter and a soothing spot for gorgeous pastries, and delicious hot drinks. I adored the black sesame latte and am looking forward to trying their matcha latte. Fav pastry was curry - jam packed with spice (not overpowering) and flavour. Other winning pastries were their savouries - Gruyère and chicken and mushroom. Absolute must visit. Lovely staff members and just a wonderful environment to have a bit of a chin wag in.

Delicious pastries, excellent coffee and friendly customer service! Coffee is made with high quality coffee beans and the baristas are highly knowledgeable. Highly recommend their Signature Chocolate Croissant as it pairs excellently with the coffee! Thank you Layers!

This place is a new hidden gem in St. Leonards. Their pastries are superb. I ordered their signature chocolate bar, it tastes good but not overwhelming. I wanna come back and try other pastries as they look very yummy! This place is literally hidden as you wouldn't expect a cafè in this street. The owner is very nice and acommodating. This place is small but very clean and have a great atmosphere to either chill or to do some work. They have outdoor seating too.Edit: I came back here again on a Friday and tried their Almond Croissant. Look at how beautiful it is. It's simply tasty! Their coffee is great!

Very delicious croissants! We ordered way too many but had the wildflower honey and sea salt and the dakgalbi. The honey one was quite sweet so I would avoid that if you don't like sugar but the salt balanced it out! We enjoyed the dakgalbi with sweet potato and my partner usually dislikes sweet potato. The cafe is so cosy and well decorated. They also have a good range of artisnal coffees.The only thing I would want is if they came out toasted when eating in. We got the sausage bun and triple choc hazlenut for takeaway. The sausage bun was so good but again not for someone who doesn't like a sweet savoury combo. The mayonnaise and sweet corn was delicious. The hazlenut one had real hazlenut inside !

I love that there is a new local bakery. I got a bulgolgi and the signature chocolate croissant. They were both delicious. There’s so many unique flavours, I’m excited to go back.

Best pastries in the area and really good coffee. The honey and sea salt croissant is a must try!! I hope the locals will support this cafe so that they can continue to bring delicious food and drinks to the north shore! We will be returning again soon.
