We've used Pat and the Racecourse Automotive team for the last four years and have always had a positive and welcoming experience. Pat is always happy to provide us with car advice and we trust him with his knowledge.

--Lack of integrity. Very poor communication. Poor service--Racecourse Automotive was a nightmare. They installed a new timing belt incorrectly causing my car to run roughly and judder. I returned the car twice but they refused to acknowledge their error. Pat said they were unable to fix the problem and didn’t even have the diagnostic tools. I had to take the car to another mechanic to resolve the issue..Pat repeatedly denied that the work carried out at Racecourse Automotive had caused the problem, even though the issue only occurred after they worked on the car, and another mechanic verified that they had installed the timing belt incorrectly. I sought legal advice and, even though Racecourse was liable for the cost of repair, Pat refused to cover the cost. In the end, to save time on legal action, I offered to split the cost 50/50 which Pat agreed to. Even then, he wanted me to stay silent about my experience.

Pat is a fantastic mechanic. He maintains and repairs our family's cars. Professional and friendly service all the time. Always has time to explain what the cars will need and alternative options. Charges fair prices. Highly recommended for all service and repair jobs.

Great mechanic! Needed a RWC after moving interstate and some repairs were needed. Racecourse completed everything in a speedy manner! Prices appear very fair to me considering the high quality work and friendly approachable manner of the mechanics! Would recommend

Pat and his crew are incredibly helpful and efficient. I had a flat battery in the area one day and Pat went out of his way to drive down and jump it! Then took it back to the shed and he had the battery replaced in under 20minutes. Absolute legend. Will not be going to any other mechanic.Have also had a service here once before and really appreciated the professionalism - reasonably priced and Pat explained all costs and repairs to me afterwards.Thanks so much Pat - I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know.
