Super Woofers - Dog Training Hobart

As the owners of Miko, a super exuberant Border Collie pup, we found the Super Woofers course invaluable. Carly is an excellent trainer - clear, methodical, practical... and funny! The training videos were logically sequenced and easy to follow, allowing you to slowly build your own training skills. The zoom sessions were really useful and we appreciated Carly taking the time to address our specific issues. Miko is on her way to becoming a better pup - thanks Carly.

We started with Carly when I found the Superwoofers Online classes during COVID lockdown. Theodore is a miniature dachshund with the usual miniature dachshund tendencies which were exacerbated by a couple of dog attacks. He is constantly eager for enrichment and yet the reactivity he had developed made it exhausting & overwhelming to venture out. The online classes gave me great direction in building Theo's rock solid foundations of 'leave it' & 'recall' amoungst other skills. It also introduced me to !!Nosework!! which is the best thing ever & an absolute game changer.After lockdown was over, we got to work with Carly in person and she does not disappoint. Such a caring & ethical person, knows her dog stuff but also knows that dogs are not robots. She was teaching me how to understand Theo so I could understand what he needed, which allowed him to be a happier and calmer dog and gave him more focus when we had to venture out. Carly helps you develop a trust relationship between you and your dog which in turn helps the communication both ways, which leads to both human and dog being happier.We since moved to the 'big island' but still follow Carly's techniques, play with new skills that Carly teaches online and I even ask questions when required which Carly gives me guidance on, that is a sign that you trainer is quality! Nosework is still the number 1 enrichment we use today, Theo absolutely loves it & I love seeing him have so much fun with it.Although Theo has gone through a long journey of behaviour work, with consistent & persistent work, he is finally becoming the dog he is meant to be and enjoying the world around him. Yes he is still a miniature dachshund, but with enrichments & communication skills, I can set him up for the win each time rather then simply being overwhelmed when the bad situation arises.His foundations being as solid as they were helped this process immensely. Any other trainer I have met to assist with the behaviour process in our new location, have commented 'impeccable training' when they see Theo in action. Each advised that I already had the best work being done and the correctguidance I needed to keep going. All of which was from Carly.I cannot recommend Carly enough to everyone that will listen. We are part of the online super puppy club and it's fab. So far we have found a massive difference with our 10-month-old puppy. I only wish Carly was in Melbourne. Would love to do some training sessions in person.

Carly has pure intentions and instills confidence in both human and doggo! I’ve had a private lesson, maaaaaaaany talks, been part of her online course and will be continuing to book 1:1’s into the future. Learning from her has been the best thing I’ve done for my knowledge and confidence. She is patient, caring, kind and works with integrity-consistently creating training and teaching outcomes that surpass expectations. I wish every Tasmanian dog had the chance to experience Carly, who is overflowing with expertise and talent within her business. I’ve known Carly to go above and beyond in many ways and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Carly is a thoughtful and empathetic trainer with outstanding knowledge of dogs and how to help them be their best selves. She has helped us numerous times with our anxious, reactive dog who is now much calmer and happier. I cannot recommend Carly enough for all dogs (and their humans) if they need help with any doggy question.

Carly is the best canine behavioural therapist I know. Her knowledge about puppies, therapy dogs and assistance dogs in second to none. The best thing about Carly is she is genuinely the most wonderful human. She is warm, caring, approachable and kind. She is able to work with people from all walks of like. She is supportive and non judgemental and she genuinely cares about both dogs and their humans. Highly recommend!

Carly is an exceptional trainer and human who is kind, patient and supportive of her clients. Her programs are fun, highly engaging and easy to follow. Super Puppy Club has helped to demystify so many aspects of training for me. While I wish I had found her earlier, the course was totally suitable for our teenage boy and he has progressed beautifully and beyond our expectations. Absolutely recommended.
