Nice attempt at a small Japanese themed garden. A bit random next to the Murray.

Yamagata Garden
Yamagata, Japan is the sister city of Swan Hill. My first impression was that the Japanese Garden looked a bit underwhelming and bare, but probably this is because (I assume) it is supposed to resemble a Zen garden, although it is lawn rather than raked sand. I feel that it should have a few seats installed around the outside at suitable viewing spots, and a bin nearby. Parking is adequate with some shade. Near McDonald's and the Pioneer Settlement.
