This shop is now under new management since Dec22 and the change is fantastic. The new owners (husband and wife) are chatty and friendly, nothing was a problem. Both the fish and the chips were fresh and crunchy and reasonably priced. Highly recommend them.

I've been coming to this fish and chip shop on our holidays in the last 5 years. And it's still fantastic. I enjoy having a chat to Sandy, the owner, who is friendly and knows her seafood. The great relationship this place has with the local fisherman is a nice touch - I love supporting local when I can. Big fan of the calamari as well as the fresh prawns. We always stock up on frozen seafood to take home. We will see you next holiday, Sandy!

Run by a lovely couple. Good food. Good vibes. They make their own sauce. Cajun on fries was delish. Change in management since December 2022, so ignore reviews before that.

Got recommended to go here by a local and it did not disappoint. Had fresh Snapper caught the day before near Fraser Island. Many other great selections like red emperor. New owners as of 3 months ago. Ignore any older reviews

Under new management!! We have been visiting rainbow for many years and have always purchased fish and chips from this business.It’s been so nice to see the place under new management as the previous owner was not the most friendliest.Food was great.Service was amazing.Highly recommended.

There’s not much open on a Sunday night in Rainbow Beach so we opted for a meal of fish and chips from here.The original owners son and daughter in law are now running the place and are doing an excellent job. Fish, locally caught cod was delicious, fried in a very fine crumbs. Scallops and chips were equally as good. Friendly people and good food so you can safely ignore the previous reviews.

Absolutely Disgusting.Be careful with this place and they scamyou BIG TIME. We payed $90 and we asked for 2 snapper, chips for 3 and a chicken burger. The fish is disgusting and theres a better place down the road.The Indian woman that works here however is lovely

Was hesitant to visit here after reading previous reviews, however the shop is under new management so thought we would give it a go and I am glad we did. The new owners are friendly and welcoming. Great fish and chips, the battered oysters were a good size. Prices are a bit high. Good range of seafood to available to purchase as well. Fast service too.

The customer service here was absolutely fantastic, we were welcomed and given recommendations by the gentlemen behind the counter. The fish was amazing, fresh, the batter was crunchy, the crumbed fish was fabulous. Chips were not oily, they were perfect. We sat out front on the bar type seating and ate our fish, and the staff were just as pleasant to everyone else who walked into the shop. So glad we stopped here.
