Another company came to repair my Fujitsu reverse cycle split system. The service/call fee to assess the problem was $220, and I was later quoted that the repair of the system would cost a further $720 of which $590 would be for parts (new soft starter and capacitors) and $130 for labour. I didn't like the sound of all this so got OzCool to check the system ... They took the top and front off the external unit and found a burnt out wire which was replaced at a total cost of $176 ($80 service/call fee, $80 for 1 hour labour, and $16 GST - no new soft starter or capacitors). Let the facts speak for themselves.

Really happy with the team at Chatfield and the job they did fixing my Engel, at a price which was honestly less than half what I was expecting for a repair! Fantastic customer service from Paul, Russ and the team, thank you all very much.

Eddie (staff member) of Chatfield Ozcool attended my home for my split system repairs (Sent by Daikin Australia for warranty repair jobs), I had great experience with Eddie, this young man had great courtesy, friendly and most importantly focused on finding the solution to the problem. As a end result I proactively asked him to quote me on another job for my centralised ducted cooling and heating. Adam the director sent me the quote today(in 3 business days). Attitude is everything and I even though the repairs are not completed but I feel confident to recommend them to anyone who needs advise on their system.

Had the pleasure of having Russell Chatfield ;come out personally to address an issue i had with a split air system. supplied and installed by others.even though on this occasion it was proven to not be worth fixing the 7 yo system . which had both a leak and an expensive outdated gas to replace . Better to later get a new system. His knowledge was fantastic and i even found that the unit was incorrectly installed and need to be away from the kitchen. so another company had already quoted a new system; but were going to put it back in the wrong spot.Highly recommend his company.
