The worst company I had to deal with while I have been in Australia for 17 years. Arrogant, unresponsive and incompetent. Drilled through my meter box for an additional antenna which didn’t help at all and the remote data readout is still not working. Pointless sending them emails or calling multiple times, you will get no reply or repair of their faulty installation anyhow.

I got multiple texts over the past week to promise fixing the meter today so I could get my new solar panels switched on tomorrow. They did not turn up. No text to say they could not attend. Nada. Why do AGL use this company?

Between Plus ES and Alinta they are pretty much useless! Solar installed waited for Alinta to organise smart meter install. 3 weeks later Plus ES tech came and installed new meter.2.5 days later new solar inverter failed with error saying could not see grid voltage. Worked with solar company to find inverter was wired to j tariff clock on meter. So solar turned on at night.... Plus ES wouldn't talk to me so went through Alinta. Explained fault to all concerned but no one did anything! 3 weeks later email back after many calls and emailes saying everything was as it should be.It wasn't... I got SA Power Networks electrician in and he couldn't believe Plus ES wired it that way and within 10 mins put it as it should be. No thanks to Alinta or Plus ES!

A subcontractor of PLUS ES installed new smart meters at our house in Nambour. The whole operation went very smoothly and the communication about the visit was also excellent. The contractor too was very professional and helpful.

I had a client who's vacant commercial building was broken into and vandalised. As part of this the switchboard was damaged and needed to be replaced.We organised a visit with Energex to discuss options. We decided to remove the service and replace the MSB in the same location. I submitted and Adds & Alts and Energex returned to site and re-energised to the main switch an a community meter was installed. At a later date a installer from Plus ES attended site and installed 4 more meters with one not installed.A few days later another Plus ES installer attended site to install the final meter however did not install it and left a defect notice.I find this interesting that he left this giving that Energex and the previous 2 installers did not find any issues. So as follows the issues were;1. MSB in an incorrect location.... Energex should not have energised if this was the case and the prior 2 installers should not have installed their meters2. Main switch was not lockable..... It is lockable and a lock out device was left onsite, I spoke with the installer who installed the 4 meters last week who confirmed this, however the lockout device is no longer in the MSB (which is locked with an Energex lock) which means the guy who defected us took it.3. Tails not long enough out of the hinged panel.... They were and I have photos to prove it. I assume the previous installer did not realise he was not installing the meter and stripped it to the correct length.4. Service links were unsafe and exposed terminals........ The links were closed with no barrel in them. How is it unsafe in a locked MSB5. Metering equipment higher than 2m..... yes it is, it is 2m and 40mm. This did not effect the other installers......I have tried to seek resolution with Plus ES however I cannot speak to the technical team and have been told to speak with QECMM and get clarification on the defects and redo my EWR... This is unacceptable and I need to speak to someone to get resolution as this is an issue caused by the Plus ES installer defecting us on things that were caused by Plus ES or are not relevant to this installation. It shows a complete lack of understanding of his work.

Wish I could give a minus. Alinta organised for a meter upgrade appointment was made for 7am suddenly these jokers took over the installation, can't tell me when they will arrive their own staff couldn't contact anyone. Right from the get go all parties were told I've animals that need to be yarded so a estimated time. An email from Alinta 8am -5pm ain't locking the guard dogs up that long. An I'm going to go relock the gate waste my valuable time happy to return the favour. Communication and respect go a long way. Deserves a minus 5 star

Early this morning the door bell rang. A young man mentioned that my smart meter needs upgrading, his company is doing it for Plus-Es. I did not know anything about it. There was absolutely no communication from Plus-Es beforehand. Is it genuine? The contractor did not even have a key to the meter box... COMMUNICATION! That is what you have to improve on!

They tried to say the meter was inaccessible yet I had spoken to them & told them where to go!!Poor service. Next appointment cancelled.
