First time here for a climb. Wasn't the warmest welcome, bit of attitude but other than that, the place was great.Good amenities, and decent layout. Gets a bit crowded on the right hand side as people just sit on the mats, not much space to walk around in between climbers and those sitting. Great variations in climbs though and decent gym workout equipment.Service: 3Atmosphere: 4

Went here very recently. I've been to a couple other bouldering gyms in Melbourne which I'll use for comparison given their competitors.The Good: Blochaus is one of the larger bouldering gyms in Melbourne, and I liked the number of climbs available. Free (liquid) chalk provided which is very nice. Has a basic gym area with a squat rack which is a nice plus. Also has a table tennis table & tight rope!The Bad: I can't give it 5 stars for the following. No WiFi. Only one (still) water station, and it pours incredibly slow. Very hard destination to go to unless you live in Port Melbourne. Their 2 week trial period is very expensive at $49 compared to other gyms.

Awesome varied climbs, great food and drink options. Good prices and big open friendly spaces. Kids area is amazing and has casual chillout areas, warmup, cooldown and training boards.The 10 session pass is great value if you're planning on returning.

Absolutely brilliant climbing gym with lots of problems and caters for both kids and adults. Space for kids parties, has parking available and overall it’s a huge gym with lots of areas to test your bouldering skills. When I went they had a couples climb which was always good since bouldering is usually done alone. Staff are friendly and it’s overall a very pleasant environment.

Great bouldering gym, spacious and has a lot of different routes of various climbing styles.Went on a weekday afternoon and wasn’t too crowded, had a really productive climbing session.Only thing is that there’s no WiFi and it is quite hard to get there unless you drive or live in the area.Would definitely visit again! :)

Fantastic service and super friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere, complimented by natural light pouring in, its nice to just hangout and have a coffee. Routes are sufficiently varried with appropriate difficulty scaling, wildcard routes and comp routes.Recommended for begginers and intermediate climbers as setting is not too demanding and rely mainly on general and finger strength. 4/5 great gym.

So much more space than other Bouldering Gyms, so you have plenty of options to climb without it being too crowded.Lots of different climbs which are fun to work out mentally.A great range or easy to hard climbs. Plus a kids wall which is great for those starting out who need to get used to the heights.Price is pretty comparable. But they do have specials which can have discounts on certain days.

Nice, fresh looking and with routes for everyone. Relatively light graded compared to what I’m used to, but just get a level up and you’ll find nice pieces to puzzle on. Definitely recommended to go there!

Incredible variety of styles, difficulties and sections. Hot pizza cooked to order, dog friendly and even training available! Such a big, great gym.
