My name is Cherry and I graduated from ARC Professional Year Program in October 2016. My experience in ARC is wonderful, and I am so glad that I choose ARC as the transit between my study and my accounting career.For the first seven months, I attended Saturday lectures every week and gained a broad understanding about Australian accounting industry, environment, workplaces and culture. My lecturer Chele is a really nice person. She is enthusiastic and passionate at all time, and she is always inspiring and encouraging for us. She shared many of her real-life experiences with us during the class, to show us how to be professional and how to deal with problems that we might face in our future careers.For the following three months of internship, ARC provided a great support. It offered free MYOB training for us to get familiar with the MYOB operation. And through the case studies with different level of complexity and difficulty, I improved my practical skills in accounting, which include bookkeeping recording for cash and accrual basis, BAS preparations, tax returns preparations for individuals, couples and companies. It also enhanced my software skills, including MYOB, Handitax, Handiledger, and Finman operation.The supervisors and colleague in ARC are very kind and supportive. They were willing to answer every question I asked in details, and explained to me with great patience. Moreover, they provided me with a mock job interview practice, followed by great career advice, interview feedbacks, and resume and cover letter modification. And ARC also has commitment to provide every student with referee to assist their future job application.Through the ten months of learning and training, ARC gave me tremendous help and support to improve myself and get prepared. So if you have graduated and want to move to the next stage of your life, don’t hesitate to choose ARC as the beginning of your accounting career.

ARC provided perfect working conditions and study atmosphere. Three dedicated and patient supervisors gave me many professional help, which made me qualified for finishing the cases with software in a short time.I believe I benefit a lot from the arc’s professional year program. It not only adds 5 points for my application of PR, but also fill in the gaps of accounting occupational skills. ARC is definitely the most recommended option for professional year

The In House training program is very useful for those student just graduate from Uni. I take the internship after the In House training, the practices enhance the knowledge that we have learned in the training program, eg. the booking, AP, AR, BAS, individual tax return, company tax return and so on. The training and internship cover most of stuffs in real accounting practice. The supervisor Henry and Danny is very nice and patience. Working and study in here is a valuable experience for me.

Internship company provide internship position on time!! It is definitely an amazing experience for me. All the staff are patient and professional. Great place to learn MYOB software for bookkeeping and tax return for individual and company.

The time I spent in the internship company is definitely a valuable experience to me. I learnt a lot and benefited a lot. After finishing the 7-months lecture, I immediately got the opportunity to do my internship. During the internship, I gain a lot of experience from solving accounting problems in real cases.

I've enjoyed my three months at the ARC internship. Not only did I improve my ability to work, but I also learned how to communicate better with my colleagues, how to understand others, and how to value everyone's opinions. These experiences will give me solid support in my future career search and self-career planning!

he entire learning process of PY studies in ARC is interesting and wonderful. In fact, it was far more than what I had expected. In here, I have learnt the application of things I obtained from university and I would like to thank ARC for giving me this incredible experience. As for my internship and training, it is definitely a great experience. I frankly appreciate treatment of my mentor Sanjay and supervisor Henry. They had always been friendly, patient and concerned with my learning here. The technical skills and notions I learnt in In-Housing Training and internship have improved me in both professional and personal aspects. I have got some valuable insights into the work field of accounting and to a certain degree also as a tax accountant. The support and feedback from ARC helped me to lay a solid foundation for my career and will help me to make first step in my career path. I will never forget the time I spent here.

During the internship in AAS, I not only had a deeper understanding of accounting, but also learned to combine the original knowledge with practice. ARC's career-year project has given me a lot of mentors and a clearer vision of my future.
