I found this man very arrogant and very unhelpful . I was passing walking home from work and I saw the shop was open . From the get go he didn’t want to seem to help me and told me few times “do my research online “ . Expected me to buy a driver without testing it out , yeah okay no thanks . Overall a cranky man .

I purchased a set of second hand clubs from Gerry a few months ago, and as a relative newcomer to the sport he was very accommodating in educating etc. there was no pressure to buy straight away and the service he provided was A+++ . I am 100% satisfied customer and I highly reccomend his shop for value/service/quality and overall great experience.

Price is what you pay and value is what you get ! GREAT VALUE. Gerry is fantastic and very knowledgeable. He’ll recommend the best merchandise for you depending on your skill level. In addition you might get something for free if he is feeling generous. Very satisfied customer.

I recently replaced my driver and 3 wood with a Cleveland Comp Launcher and Ping G25, for $250 the pair. Both are in great condition and I coudn't be happier. And there was an offer to return them if not satisfied. You won't find a better golf shop in Sydney.

I don't know how to put this into words that convey my short time at Balmain Golf, but this was the most surreal retail experience of my young life. Gerry is the loosest unit I've ever seen, and simultaneously is extremely succinct, helpful and generous. Even if you don't play golf, a visit here is a must. If you DO play golf, you're a fool for shopping elsewhere. I wish I could give this place 6 stars on the basis that I was howling so hard in laughter upon my exit that I almost had to pull over on my way home to take a moment to recompose. Gerry's a legend.
