Nuovo Hairstudio and Nuovo Cafe

If I could give my experience a zero at this Hair Studio I would. I recently came into Nuovo as a new client with Becky to get a haircut and colour. Not only was my haircut a complete hack job but the colour was left with orange and chunky bits all over my head. My hair cut was noticeably uneven and I was then told by Becky to YouTube how to fix" the ends if I wanted to straighten my hair because it will be "jagged" and "uneven" when I do. If the experience with Becky was not already awful I had been in the studio for 6hrs and left with it un-styled and wet.I do not believe that this unprofessionalism and lack of competence reflects the whole studio but I am convinced that this hairstylist does not have a licence to cut hair."

Always have such a lovely time treating myself here at Nuovo! Staff are so friendly and always make me feel right at home. Throughout my appointment the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I was so happy with the end result - my hair was left feeling completely revitalised. Would recommend to everyone!

I have had my hair done with Kristen a few times now and on every occasion she does a fabulous job. She listens intently to what you want done and has great advice on how to achieve it. As well as being an excellent hair technician, she is also a really warm, lovely lady who always makes you feel welcome. Thank you Kristen :)

I’ve been coming to Nuovo Hair on-and-off for years now and NEVER have I been so disappointed and unsatisfied with a haircut in my life. I have curly hair that is bra length and was after a bit of layering to help give my hair some shape, I booked online but received a call from the salon not long after where I expressed my concerns and made sure I booked with a senior stylist who was capable of giving me what I wanted. I was given Becky. Becky not only let me walk out of the salon with WET hair but also gave me a haircut I could do better blindfolded. I asked for layering in the back and received a tiny trim and 1970’s bangs, these ‘bangs’ where cut so deep towards my crown that I couldn’t even get it blended when I came back the following day to Nuovo, and if anymore length was to be taken off to ‘blend’ this butcher job, I’d end up with a mullet. Thanks a lot for ruining my confidence Becky you shouldn’t be a hairdresser.The only problem I have is with the job done on my hair, when I came in the next day the other girls were so understanding and very compassionate and I did receive a full refund.

My daughter, Ashlee was thrilled with her foils and cut by Ava at Nuovo. We highly recommend this stylist- her expertise and experience helped my daughter to decide on a colour and style that would best suit her, and the results were better than we had hoped for. Thank you to Ava and the team!!

After trying to get a good men's haircut in Coffs for over 2 years I finally came upon Nuovo, I had Katie cut my hair and it's the best haircut I have ever had, did everything I wanted and I'm so happy with it. Well done.

WOW! Yesterday I had the most incredible experience and service at Nuovo Hair. I am usually quite cautious when choosing a hair salon, but I had the best time there. Firstly, all of the staff were so friendly and I was so happy with the end result of my cut and colour. Such great value and a lovely atmosphere! I highly recommend to anyone. Will be back! I have been coming to Nuovo for quite awhile now, and always have the best haircuts and experience with each of the stylists. The team are so welcoming and friendly, and always understand exactly what I want with my hair. Their cafe is awesome as well! Best coffee in town!
