We went there for lunch on Melbourne Cup Day and had their roast dinners (lamb and pork) with all the traditional trimmings. Both were delicious. Staff very welcoming and efficient. Old fashioned meal in an old-world dining room in a beautiful setting with a view across to Mt Baw Baw with snow on it. We will be back.

Another hidden gem in Gippsland .. Jindi Caf' is where you enjoy the place and the food .. People are welcoming and menu is a real home made collection of dishes .. Taste is wonderful and served with a friendly smile .. Owners were helpful in pointing out the touristic locations around .. Lovely chats .. Definitely a spectacular place to see and to have a tasty meal

Travelled here on a bike club ride and was a fantastic location with great views along the way. They had organised Sunday roast for us all with dessert and tea and coffee which was very nice. The staff are very friendly the food was good and we will be bringing friends back to this location.

Warm, country style restaurant - great views out the back and on the drive there - the most courteous and warm people you will meet - the food was great, rustic, country style food. We had brekkie, seated at the table by the window at the back. We noticed several reservation for lunch. The food was delicious, with very healthy items used especially the sourdough, warm and freshly baked. Enjoyed the pot of tea and had to get a coffee takeaway for the drive back through the rolling hills.Met the owners dad who came over and had a chat with us. Heard a lot of history about the place and he directed us to the most scenic cricket ground we have ever seen half a mile down the road. Hydd Park Reserve. The ambience was warm and hospitable. Great to listen to the chats other guest sitting by the fire were having with the owners. We are going back for the roasted lunch with lamb, pork and beef.A great experience. Must go, call ahead to book a table.

On Thursday 29th Apr, Three of us Ladybirds had the best time at this country cafe! It’s the whole package of location for dreamers, the expansive and generous backdrops, the setting, the service, the food… It’s a sweet after taste on my experience! The staff went all out to make sure we are comfortable, that the dirty chai is up to standard , the flathead fish and chips were good enough,…. Took photos of us like professionals…. More of us will be back! Weekdays is all I have. But many have asked to join in on weekends! I am so glad I booked as you even prepared the table so nicely for us! Definitely worth the >120-150km drive there for each of us! Jindivik is certainly a day for soul searching and healing! Not only the drive there is beautiful, to have my spirits rejuvenated by The most exotic garden at Broughton Hall, followed by your special service at lunch, then the short walks up to see the most scenic tennis courts, the most scenic cricket pitch, the most scenic outdoor gym,…. And the expressions of individuality and talents at the metal sculptures! Not to mention Nangara Reserve! You made our day there so happy!!
