Beautiful part of the world and great ambience inside the cellar door. The gin was excellent but unfortunately no tonic with the tasting flight. Also they charge you for the flight when you purchase where other distilleries waive it. Bonus was to walk in & experience the distillery.

Amazing Distillery experience! Tom our guide was super knowledgeable and we ended up purchasing muscat whiskey and citrus Gin. Had multiple tastings and heard about the history of the Distillery.

Beautiful gothic architecture - the buildings and the complex are absolutely stunning! The release 3 whisky and solvers whisky are much better than other Tasmanian whiskies on the market and it was a please you speak to the owners and distillers on-site.Do have a wander around the old stables and be in awe of the holiday stables that were built by the Butler family.

My wife and I popped through on our Honeymoon as we were driving past from Bothwell and happened to see the distillery by chance. We Cannot recommend enough! Tom and Eason who were looking after the Cellar door were very pleasant! Their passion and knowledge for the history and precise notes on the tastings were on point. Along with their own recommendations and thier super friendly, easy going hospitality was fantastic! my wife is an architect and the buildings have beautifully considered interiors. It was such a treat to have stumbled across this place. Please stop by and enjoy everything!

Last weekend, my wife and I with some friends came to Lark Distillery Pontville.Lucky for us, we got Nikki taking us on a tourNikki's ability to tailor her tour for everyone who is there is incredible. Also, her knowledge is not only of Lark but also of the building and history at Pontville. Also, she helps you understand how whiskey is made and how to talk about whiskey and tasting it.So yourself a favour and head out there.. worth the drive.

My mate and I visited this distillery and splurged on a helicopter ride to get there. The view of the estate firm the air was amazing. Tom did a great job with the tour and showed us the grounds and the distilling process. A lot of exciting things on the horizon with this distillery in the next few years.

This was a highlight of our Tassie trip. As a whisky lover it was a must to visit and it was well worth the drive. The staff were incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. They also do a great cheese board to go with your whisky tasting. They do sell all the whiskies onsite aswell however they are the exact same price as the online store.

Have been a Larks fan for awhile & amazing to see their growth & refinement since our last visit to Hobart 9 yrs ago. Pontville site fantastic, sadly we missed the Ghost tour but we’re graciously hosted by Niall who shared his knowledge of whisky freely
