Jindabyne Equestrian Resort

Stayed at the horseshoe lodge for a few nights during ski season. About 15 minutes out of the way from Jindabyne so a distance from the slopes. Clean amenities and great showers. Unfortunately experienced cold rooms like other reviewers. The heaters are centrally controlled and stop at 21 degrees. Ours displayed 19 all night. It was not warm enough to get ski gear dry. Never saw staff which was very odd, and felt a bit lazy/poor service wise. Also not that cheap of an option. Probably best to stay during summer to get the most out of the area

Encountered with very rude behaviour by the owner Peter. Untrained employees and providing wrong information to the customer. Not enough facilities to the group of 12 when we were charged per head. When we pay for per head we expect basic needs like towels, toilet papers etc. Provided as well.Matthew literally told us to use public toilet when we asked for extra toilet papers. I dont recommend this resort unless you dont have anywhere else to stay. We were ready to compromise with a lot of things since we were a big group. But we were not treated right. Politeness, realization, customer service, and towels+toilet papers were missing in this resort.

Very poor reception from manager lecturing me on the need to book in advance because he was about to close even though I booked and arrived within the designated time frame. Not the right person for the job. Heating didn’t work, no tv remote, jug was burnt out. No response when called for assistance. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Currently staying at JE resort in the main building and it is fantastic. A lovely country vibe to the place and only a 15 minute drive into Jindabyne and only 37 mins to Perisher carpark. Facilities were spotless and clean and the staff were welcoming and lovely. Picturesque views around the property if you fancy a little bush walk. Highly recommend staying here if you want to escape the business of Jindabyne town and have a country escape and an affordable price. Please ignore the reviews that were made below as they appear to be slander!

Sharing my experience at this place, not enough towels or toilet paper poor service rude and arrogant workers.. when we asked for more toilet paper a guy named “mathew” said he can only provide two rolls for the 12 of us. He was rude and arrogant and told us to go to a public toilet instead.PETERHe is owner of this resort. As soon as checked in the resort he called me asking us to pay $700 extra even tho we haven’t been told this before when we were taking the booking by a different employer. We were happy to pay the extra money but Peter accused us of lying and was really rude and being arrogant and saying “our employees don’t do that”. Very unprofessional and rude! I do not recommend anyone to rent this place because its just a waste of money service is really bad. They provided 4 towels for 12 people.

Worst resort I have ever been to. There are no staff to enquire anytime. And the owner PETER was accusing us of lying even tho we wrent informed about their pricing. Not even explaining to us what was going on, we said we didnt know about this and he accused us of lying. Very unprofessional. And their employee MATTHEW gave us 2 toilet paper rolls for 12 people. Don't know what is with all the negative comments, we had the best time! Rooms were clean and tidy and facilities were great. Service was prompt and staff went above and beyond to look after us! A local business hit hard from covid, still trying do do their best, can't ask for any more then that! Highly recommend it!

Very disappointed. Cancelled my booking for the season due to COVID restrictions and converted to a credit note. Initially JE was very responsive. However, now I have to move overseas and won't be able to use the credit but they will only return 75% of the original booking.I would be wary booking with JE Resort in future, especially if you are coming from interstate, as with the changing conditions and restrictions there is a chance they will just take 25% of your booking without valid reason.While I appreciate businesses are doing it tough, it seems unfair to be charged for a service that there's no way I can use.
