I’ve had many bad brow experiences but today it was a good one with the technician on today asking many questions on what I was after and with it being so close to Christmas what they can and can’t do today with myself being a walk in. She was attentive and a technician not on the phone to someone was quite refreshing

I got my eyebrows waxed and threaded here on Tuesday. The lady was super professional, consultative, and I was impressed with her work.

Norman did a great job of my eyebrow threading, and leg wax. She was happy, friendly and did a great job!

I always come to this particular parlour to see Noman, who is exceptionally gentle, patient and thorough. I have sensitive eyes and skin, but regularly get my brows waxed/tinted and my lashes tinted. I've been to several other places previously and struggled with the process, but Noman always does such a beautiful job, and without aggravating my skin and eyes. Thank you :)

I had a waxing and brow threading session with a lovely lady, Norman. She made me feel very comfortable and was making sure I was okay and not in too much pain. My brows have never looked so good. She was able to listen to my needs and understand my preferred outcome. Will definitely come again.

I had my eyebrows threaded and tinted. The technician did a terrible job, I went home so upset. I’ve never tinted them before so asked for her advice. She dyed my fair brows dark brown. I went home in shock and tried all the tips the internet offered to lighten them. In retrospect she should have provided me with options and a colour chart, a consultative approach. I went back the next day to ask for help to repair not only the colour but the shaping was awful too, which was now glaring in dark brown. There was another lady there, and no other customers, she remained on the phone having a social call while trying lighter brown dye on top of my dark, I was suspicious that this would not work, and it did not. I pointed out that improving the shape would help, she refused and said the other lady would be back in 2 days, as if I would go back to that empty shop and have either of these ladies who lack skill and customer service touch my brows again. After my experience I believe they do not care about customers, beware.

I come here regularly for eyebrow threading and have never had a bad experience. Pranisha did a great job today, asking about my preferencs at each step of the way. Highly recommend!

EDIT: 2/12/2022 - Regarding the stock standard response from the owner, I did reach out to them at the email specified BEFORE I posted this review and they were unwilling to help.I'd give this 0 stars if I could.BE WARNED, if you choose to use the Beauty & Brow Parlour and have issues make sure you let the technician know you are unhappy with the service before you leave the premises. Management won't do anything to resolve the issues later via email if you complain.I came in at 4:20pm on 11 November 2022 (the salon closed at 5pm) for underarm, half leg and bikini line waxing.I was left with sticky wax all over my legs, feet, hands, clothes and bikini line (including clumps of wax in my bikini line) as the technician didn’t clean up properly with the after wax solution. It seemed they were in a rush to finish and close up for the day.The bikini line wax itself was shocking - completely uneven in shape and not all the hair on the sides removed - patchy removal.I didn’t feel comfortable to bring this up on the spot with the technician but I was not happy at all and had to get the bikini line redone elsewhere.Plus I left completely sticky and had to wash the dress I was wearing due to wax residue around the underarms and leg area.Additionally I have had brow and lip threading before at this outlet in December 2021 and have decided I will never again visit for ANY services - waxing or threading. My brow and upper lip broke out in red pustules and white heads after the service.The hygiene practices and technique of the salon technicians needs urgent attention.There are other beauty salons in the neighbourhood who charge similar affordable prices, and take care of their customers and clean up appropriately. Book with one of them, rather than risking the 'walk in' experience at The Beauty and Brow Parlour.
