Budget Car & Truck Rental Gladesville

The worst experience ever!Cars are dirty inside and outside and smell of cigarettes!! Unbelievable!! It happened 3 times!Unfortunately, my company rent cars from them!I do not recommend Budget/AVIS at all.

If you're on a tight budget then you know where to go. Wouldn't recommend renting on the day you will be using the vehicle, try renting a day ahead because the reception is very busy. Wait times up to half an hour.

Booking process was great, however the return was far from it. A complete lack of integrity over items left in the vehicle. Sure, it’s my mistake to leave something behind, however a simple process of honesty in identifying lost property and then contacting the customer is entirely absent.

I was given a car via my insurance company Allianz - it all went well until i received a toll cost against my card. I called Budget and spoke with an employee with a Canadian accent and explained i didn't have the car at the time of the toll. He looked up on the system acknowledged it was a mistake and told me he would notify management and they would call me to arrange a refund, another week passed and i called the same employee who told me he was too busy and again would get management to call me - i ended up getting my bank to dispute and refund. Very disappointing customer service to waste my banks, Linkt Tolls and my time. Still cant believe management didn't call to apologies after 3 calls. Defiantly living up to their name Budget!

As a small business with the need to hire vehicles , they aren’t too bad. Pretty much always have a car license truck to go. Expensive , but as they say “....if you don’t like it...”Problems arise when it comes to quality and responsibility though.Multiple times trucks have had safety issues not rectified (large hole in pantech floor , unsafe rear latch locking etc)More recently a larger truck was hired - in which the tailgate lifter leaked hydraulic fluid all over our clients driveway. Mind you , the tailgate was static and not used ! This shows a lack of care and proper (actual?) servicing and maintenance. This in it self was a major issue - but under further investigation Budget at Gladesville has failed to rectify the issue or atleast compensate the affected client.IE ignored totally.I’d worry to deal with this business should something go wrong with your rented vehicleThe servicing and maintenance system should also be audited thoroughly.Do your research and Be aware of your rights. Also don’t be afraid to bring up an issue of unhappy with a vehicle.

Wonderful car rental company. So polite and helpful. I was dropped off by my cab and they had the car sorted out within 10 minutes. He kindly explained how the car worked as I had never driven a hybrid and I was on my way.The fastest most efficient service I have ever experienced. Thank you.

Terrible service. Budget incorrectly charged me for the invoice and I am still waiting for the refund. My RA number is 412712193 for Budget. They need to charge from NRMA as I rented via insurance NRMA. NRMA sent a letter to Budget to charge NRMA and refund me. I called and emailed Budget with the confirmation letter from NRMA. And they did nothing. There is no ownership to refund my money and they talk like it's all my fault that they did the mistake. I am really frustrated after calling Budget gladesville 7 times. Still waiting for my refund. Be aware of them when you provide credit card details. If they charge you incorrectly the money is gone.

Was moving house and got stuffed around by another truck rental.I rang Budget the same morning and they were able to get me a 4.5T truck last minute on a Saturday morning as they had a late cancellation. A bit of luck yes, but they really came through and saved us. This was back in December when there were next to no trucks available to rent anywhere.Customer service was friendly and was reasonably priced.

Booking process was great but when I dropped the truck back after hours I filled the tank to the very top then I found a $64.00 charge taken out of my account. When I called the next day to discuss the charges they did not offer any refund and I told the person I was unhappy and he said have a nice day! I will never you this company again.
