Overpriced with a limited menu. The pasta was very average, very bland flavour and poor presentation. Convenient being in the hotel, but I would recommend going elsewhere.Edit: Because I can't reply below, I'll edit here with a little more context. I had the Fusilli. The pea pesto was watery and pretty flavourless, saturating the dish and providing an overall poor look to the dish. The seafood was cut into small chunks, once again flavour overtaken by the pesto, making it hard to appreciate the seafood. I would have rather had larger pieces, probably would have been better appreciated with less pesto. The pasta itself was cooked well. Overall though, at nearly $40 for a main, it seemed more like a dish I'd get for $20 at the pub down the road, hence the disappointment.

A cozy restaurant with a waterview run by Sails by Rydges. They even have outdoor seating with a fireplace perfect for some drinks.Their menu is small but designed and cooked with care.

We had the Christmas buffet dinner at this restaurant. Not many places were open so it was nice for us visitors that don’t cook to find a place like this. The view was alright with boats outside the window in the background. It was a Christmas dinner buffet so understandably expensive compared to what we ate. But overall not too bad an experience and wouldn’t mind coming back in the future.Staff were attending to our needs and they stuck to the liquor licensing rules quite strictly where on a public holiday you have to order a substantial meal to be able to order drinks.

Regretting that we gave this restaurant a second chance on our second visit in a year to sails.Overpriced and tiny portions, we ordered the taco share plate which was drizzled with so much oil the taco wraps were soggy and we were left covered in oil. Corn that accompanied was flavourless, tasted like it was out of the tin.Kids enjoyed their meals but they too were limited.Convenient if you’re staying at the hotel but we won’t be back!

Two stars for the atmosphere and food presentation, but unfortunately it stops there. The staff were friendly but not very professional. We made a booking for 7pm and waited for 20 mins to be seated with plenty of tables available (maybe they were just understaffed). Food was extremely underwhelming. Duck pate was white, tasted raw and weirdly gamey, barramundi was really overly salty and scotch fillet was tough, undercooked and tasteless. Really wanted to like this place as the reviews were great, but the food was so bad we made reservations for another restaurant for the next day while we were still here. $175 for two adults and 1 child, not worth it in my opinion.

Positives:Nice locationBreakfast staff greatYour usual Breakfast buffet menu itemsNegatives:Slow service from dinner service wait staff and bar.Food wasn't worth the time we waited or the price we paid.We were first told restaurant was booked out but we got seated. Restaurant had only two tables occupied that included ours in the hour we were there and one table in the bar area. You have a great locationGoing by previous reviews you guys need to step up your game at dinner service. We chose to eat elsewhere the rest of our stay.

$38 bucks for this little piece of pork belly. I think Is overpriced. The taste was good but nothing wow. It comes with a side of parsley which I think is the worst choice, would have been better if it came with some veggies or at least a potato, it doesn’t cost much and makes a big difference. The lady at the counter was good with us and that’s why I give it to stars, otherwise I would give it one.

Entering the hotel gave us confidence the food would be ok. After asking for a table/place to order food and consume it, we were not too sure.... The hostess was not too helpful and just asked us to find a spot out there. Most of the tables were dirty, stained with food, spilled drinks. The floor was sticky. There were dirty dishes around. Even though there were almost no customers, we struggled to find a table that would be clean. Ordering food was not easy. The staff was not sure if the kitchen can cook what we ordered. Fortunately, we received what we ordered in no time. Overall, a sub-par pub experience

We had a very good dinner here on Friday evening. The restaurant was almost full but they managed to fit us in.The view from the restaurant is pretty good as you overlook the marina. The food we had was quite outstanding. Very unexpectedly so.The salt n pepper squid was fantastic. 5/5The pork cutlet was so good. Never bothered ordering pork cutlet before but so so glad I did as it was freakin awesome. 5/5My wife had the steak which was a solid 5/5. Medium rare with a slight char. The jus was amazing. 5/5My daughter’s kid’s burger was actually really good too. Large enough portion for an adult. Very good burger and good chips too. 4/5My crème brûlée was ridiculously good. Wow. 5/5Great staff and great food in a great place. Nicely done.
