Don’t bother complaining or contacting the Professional Standards Department here. The “lawyers” and “legal officers” there are not actually legally trained. If you check their names, they don’t even hold a legal qualification. If you need help, you are better off contacting the NSW Law Society. The people who answer the phones here are unhelpful and will pawn you off onto another agency. I called to speak to someone a few times, but was told the “lawyers” were busy and would call me back. I never received any call back. I then sent an email and was given incorrect information about advertising requirements, by a staff member, which the CEO had to later correct.
