Really love the pad thai, the fried rice and bbq beef!!! You can enjoy your food with breezy air of the beach. Usually they always long queue on the weekend

Lots of tasty and delicious food here at Thai by the Beach! Highlights were the chicken pad-see-eiw and the roast duck salad (the duck was just perfectly cooked). This place gets super busy as it's on the main road and very noisy, however food is great and affordable.Highly recommend making a booking here as so many people had to get turned away cause they were at capacity very early on!

Thai by the Beach is a bustling restaurant that serves tasty food. The Duck Palo was delicious and a very substantial dish. We also enjoyed the Crispy Fish Fillet with Apple Salad.

A very popular restaurant. Caters for large groups. Food was excellent, with good vegan options. Reasonably priced, good service, and excellent location. Council parking was very close by.

Went there for a family dinner on a Friday evening. You can't get a better location than this restaurant, just opposite the beach. The food and service was very good, and still very good value. The only negative is that the food is just a tad too salty, and this has been mentioned in other reviews. We ordered Ka Prao pla, soft shell crab with papaya salad, bbq seafood platter, and seafood with chilli basil.

Food was pretty hit and miss. The presentation of the seafood coming inside the coconut was quite a novelty, but I found the soft shell crab a bit too salty. One of the biggest negatives with this place is the speed of service when it comes to food. It took over 30 minutes before the first dish was served. Another negative is the open air dining, which introduces a fair bit of pollutants given that you’ll be mainly breathing in smoke from cigarettes and fumes from vehicles driving by the beach. On a brighter note, the mock tails orders were both very nice.

service here was actually pretty good, though the food was just okay for the most part. we had the peking duck pancakes, king prawns, and fried rice of some sort. they were definitely a bit pricier than the usual, but we were okay with trying new things since we though it would be of fantastic quality. the peking duck pancakes were pretty nice, and so were the prawns, which were actually a bit strange. im not a fan of eating the prawn shells so when i found out that it was battered with the prawn shell on, it made eating it very difficult and frankly, tasteless as well. these were some massive prawns though, for sure. the fried rice was unfortunately the worst out of all of it, tasting extremely bland and oily. i had also ordered a lava cake, though it never came even though we were waiting for quite a while. we left shortly after this since i was not keen on waiting any longer.
