was in there with my son who was 17 at the time, and the manager or owner didn't see me and said to my son if your not buying get out!Never have i seen such a dirty dog working in a shop like this before!I have noticed the other great reviews (sarcasm)People like this deserve to close shop and go bankrupt....i can only hope!.....

Way too expensive. So much is old.I found what I wanted but it was 2 to 3 times dearer than the camping shop in Moss St Brisbane. Aluminium, not stainless. I bought stainless, cheaper and the Dixie's were a better design.

Update: I checked some of the more recent reviews, while also getting a response to this review I've just posted, and I have to say it makes me smile knowing that these guys are able to take constructive criticism and do a complete 180 degree turn. I may reconsider visiting here once again for more filters. Therefore, changing up the stars on this review since I feel effort has been taken.Negative review incoming. This store is a total candy-store for people who want to buy military gear, they have everything you need. I came in looking for a Gas Mask and went inside the store. The old man who seems to be notorious in these reviews was there to serve me. Like the reviews say, the man is rather dismissive and unpleasant, but considering he is a war veteran who served in Germany during the 60's, I could understand his view on civilians. Regardless I treated him with respect as I made my purchase. I came to buy a gas mask which he claimed to be of American in Origin, which actually turned out to be a Romanian M74.Regardless, I managed to get this from $180 down to $90, which is significantly cheaper for a Military Standard Gas Mask, the man who worked at the store did the courtesy of removing the plug from the Filter so I wouldn't be dead within a minute, not to mention he did an inspection of the mask to make sure there were no leaks or tears in the leather, or cracks in the window ports.If you're looking to buy a gas mask here, he's got a limited supply but you have the added benefit of having fairly-newish-stock and being able to physically examine what you buy.Regardless, the only issue was staff but if you're fixated on what you want to get, it shouldn't be a major issue.

Friendly staff. The old guy is good to talk to and can get you a better price for items. May come off to some as a little grumpy but from what I have read he is a war veteran so it's understandable. I had a good talk to him and a bit of a laugh. Had no troubles at all. Best Army Disposal store I have ever shopped at with some of the most competitive pricing.

Went here today with my son, was greeted as soon as we walked in, a great range of items will definitely be back.

Website and store window signage shows Saturday trading till 2pm. Arrived at store at 1:10pm on Saturday 19th March and it was closed.I gather from the reviews this happens a lot. Have you thought about editing your advertised trading hours to match the actual hours you are able to trade? (so not to waste your potential customers time).

Extremely rude woman, price was marked on shelf full of boots at $129. She demanded $199 and made a scene in her own store. Very unimpressed and do not recommend this store to anyone ever! It was definitely not a customer who moved a few dozen pairs of boots to a different section. You are terrible business people with no morals. Your smart ass replies are; duly noted.

Will never shop here again. Not happy with the rudeness of the owner, made a comment about my partners size and said it was a problem, disgraceful behaviour. Next time try being helpful and being respectful to your customers, and maybe they might buy something.
