Alcom Tint + Security

It was a pleasure dealing with Alcom from the initial quote and measure to the installation for the security film.The installers arrived on time, understood the job well and were well prepared to do the work efficiently, while maintaining an informal customer relationship. They showed care when moving around our house and provided towels to ensure our aged timber floor was not impacted by the work.Overall, I was impressed by their professionalism and excellent customer service and highly recommend them.

This company is a delight to deal with. I met Quentin, Alcom security's director in the 2022 home show. Quentin and his team were knowledgeable, professional, approachable and welcoming. I engaged them to install a security door at our front entrance. Quentin promptly arranged a home visit for measurements. Excellent communication, perfect and TIMELY installation, and great looking door.My property is in Cassidy crescent in Bridgeman Downs.I highly recommend Alcom security for their professionalism, timely response, punctuality, communication, and competitive pricing.

We are very happy with the services provided by Quentin O'Brien and his staff at ALCOM TINT + SECURITY, who are all very professional with their sales and support services.In July 2021, ALCOM TINT + SECURITY installed 3M SECURITY FILM in the lower level of our house.We were so impressed and satisfied with their work, we decided to go ahead and complete the entire security of our home (top level) with 3M SECURITY FILM, and also CRIMSON SECURITY SLIDING DOORS and FIXED GRILL in both levels of the house in November/December 2022. I would not recommend this company for points listed below, over all for the premium price you pay for this company the customer service was below industry standard. I would suggest going with more reputable companies. This company was extremely stressful to work with.- The company cancelled on us twice. The first time we had to ring the office 5 times before Alcom called back while waiting over 5 hours before Alcom cancelled the job. On the day the receptionist lied and said they will arrive within 30 mins multiple time. Then Quentin O’Brien was being extremely stubborn about not cancelling the job suggesting for the installed to carried on work will we had guest over for a family dinner. We specifically told them we had a family diner and needed the work to be completed before 5pm when we booked the installed initially. The second time they cancelled 30 mins before the installed were meant to arrive on site. It was difficult to be giving composition from the two days of work I missed out on. I had to pressure Quentin O’Brien for a discount, I was only given an 5% discount.- There is film already lifting on the edges and corners after two weeks of installation, bubbles still present & due to the glass not being correctly cleaned there is debris within the film.

We approached 3 firms regarding the installation of security film. Alcom impressed us the most with helpful appropriate advice, prompt punctual service and a quality 3M product.Although their quotation was not the cheapest, we chose Alcom because their representative Dale ensured that our requirements would be met with a the right product for each application. Not just the one size fits all approach.Prior to application of the film, Quentin, the manager personally inspected the property to ascertain what was required. This was beneficial because he realised scaffolding was required and the glass balistrade on a balcony needed particular treatment.The application team were very friendly and efficient and again Quentin personally checked on their work.He also followed up on a minor issue subsequent to the installation and arranged prompt rectification.We were very happy with the result, not only because we had added security and privacy: to my surprise the benefit was measurable.Prior to 3M tinted film being applied to the windows of a bedroom facing the western sun, it was necessary to employ the air-conditioning to cool the room.The film reflected so much of the light and heat that the air-conditioning was not required.We also had the benefit of greater privacy as illustrated in the before and after photos.We certainly recommend and thank Quentin and his team for their professional service and quality product.

We have just used Alcom Security and Tint to install both 3M security film and two Crimsafe doors at our home. Quentin and the team could not have been more helpful. From the start to the finish, we felt like we had made the right choice. The turnaround time to install these items to accommodate our needs was exceptional. Thank you so much. The two Crimsafe doors that were not straight out of the box that were installed today look fantastic and blend in perfectly with our existing framework. We have no hesitations whatsoever in recommending this company for any security screen or 3M Tinting installation.

I ordered front window screens and a crimsafe door from Alcom security. Quentin has kept his promises in terms of customer satisfaction and communication which has been well and truly appreciated

We used Alcom to install security window screens on our front deck so that we had piece of mind while allowing air to flow through our home. We had expert advice to add a security slider on our window that links our kitchen to our deck and the product is so much better than our expectation! Complete security with amazing functionality that can be operated with a finger!! We are also very happy with the other regular window security screens installed.Great advice, service and after sales/installation service and price! Highly recommend using this company.

I contracted Alcom to install window security film for our home. The installation of the film was a big job over two days but was done very professionally by Dylan who was excellent, courteous, and communicated well. The quote provided initially was thorough. The only reason why I haven’t given five stars is that communication could have been better after I contracted them to do the work but I must commend Alcom (Quentin) for following up on my feedback after the work was completed with a personal call which demonstrates that they care, are willing to listen and have a commitment to improving their service which I cannot say all companies do. Given this, I would certainly consider them for future work as the actual installation of the film was done well.
