I recently had the pleasure of attending classes at Koolclay Art Studio in Maldon, and I must say it was an incredible experience. Tracey, the owner, is an exceptional instructor who possesses an impressive amount of knowledge and expertise in the world of clay art.From beginners to advanced artists, Tracey caters to everyone's skill level and provides a welcoming and inclusive environment. As a beginner myself, I was initially unsure about working with clay, but Tracey's patience and guidance quickly put me at ease. Her ability to break down complex techniques into simple, manageable steps made learning a breeze.What sets Koolclay Art Studio apart is the sheer joy and enthusiasm that Tracey brings to each class. Her passion for clay art is contagious, and she creates an atmosphere that is both enjoyable and inspiring. Not only did I learn valuable techniques, but I also had an absolute blast while doing so.The studio itself is well-equipped, providing all the necessary tools and materials for a fulfilling clay art experience. Tracey from Kool Art Clay is fabulous, the best teacher when it comes to all things ceramics and being creative. I've been taught by Tracey in Castlemaine and in her fabulous studio Kool Clay Art in Maldon since the beginning of 2023. I'd always wanted to learn ceramic, so at 53, and with zero experience, I started lessons every week with Tracey.I've come a long way from my first coil and pinch pot with the help of Tracey. She is very patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic regarding the different, and often strange, ideas I want to make such as a pumpkin chandelier, clay and glass frogs bowl, a large bird baths made of 50 individual pieces, leaf wind chimes, toadstool sculpture and lizard tunnels.Kool Clay Studio is definitely a fun, friendly and inspiring environment to be creative. The studio is set up with everything I need to work like slab rollers, slip molds, different Earthenware and Stoneware clays, handbuilding and wheel throwing equipment, glazes, underglazes, stains, oxides, and even a spray booth. The studio has a gas and electric kilm so our work is carefully and professionally fired on site. Tracey has over 30 years experience firing ceramics so our work always comes out looking amazing, and most importantly, in one piece.I've made wonderful friends through Tracey's classe and really look forward to enjoying a laugh and a chat as we work on our latest clay creations. If you want to try ceramics or want to get back into it then I'd definitely recommend coming to Kool Clay Art Studio. It's the best 'Me Time' I have all week.

Unfortunately had a terrible experience. Work was damaged without apology. Over charged and not worth the money. Disappointing.
